Yes we need to try something different. A Gould or a Bellamy, a Peter O'Sullivan as recruitment manager. At the moment we're paying so much to too many average players we can't afford to offer upgrades to better players when they become available on the open market - the kind of players who would help us win games. We're wasting our cap on no-hopers. F..k off Elliott, Waddell, Stimson, Flanagan, Allan and most of the other 15 off contract this year. Front load some contracts and bring in juniors then use the money saved to buy bigger and better in near future. Can we also get better recruiters like O'Sullivan who can spot great young players like Reece Walsh before other clubs.

Meaney would of struggled to make the side next year tbh (also if DWZ stayed, when Okunbor returned he probably wouldn't of made the side either). He's consistently average. 4-5/10 (in our team) most weeks with a 6-7/10 a couple of times a year. He would of only been in our top 3 players (15 rounds so far) only a couple of times this year.

I think people are massively overreacting to missing out on Shaun Johnson. Especially when he wasn't essential seeing as we've already signed Burton.

We're all desperate for more signings but people are ignoring the fact that Burton and Addo-Carr are excellent signings and Naden will be a good addition also.

It's hard to close deals and secure top end talent when you're coming last. People think we should just sign the best talent in the comp but it isn't as easy as that. I'd rather they took their time than make more panic buys like Flanagan, Allan, Waddell etc..

Parr and Gould didn't accept the position for what ever reasons, I am sure we will come up with the appropriate man for the job, maybe a Bennett or a Bellamy, who knows ?
