They were walking past the players box, as GCKT wasn't playing in the game, just observing.

GCKT went after them and initiated the confrontation.

Anthony Seibold has explained why Gordon Chan Kum Tong approached a Warriors fan in the stands post-game. "There were a couple of supporters who were disrespectful with their language towards Jake Trbojevic, so Gordie asked him to pull his head in," he said.
