I love how two weeks ago no one in the media knew who this kid was. He has one really good game and now there's a new article about him and his new contract every second day despite the fact he can't play again til round 11.

Exactly this.

There would be 10% of the drama in Rugby League, if the journalist didn’t make stuff up and sensationalise stories to justify their jobs.

If you watched his interview you would know he’s not going anywhere. Kid loves the club.
Media trying to say he shouldn't sign with us cause we shafted him before? Big bad ugly Bulldogs again (and again and again...)

The reality is more like he appreciates the lessons and the journey he's had and wants to repay the club. His jersey presentation was there for the journo to see but I guess the truth would've spoiled the story.

Kids played half a game of first grade and his greedy manager has already got him in the shop window
How do you justify calling his manager greedy, isn't a manager supposed to look after his client ?
Kiraz is a local junior who's twice been rejected by us, I think a fair contract is the least we can give him.
For years we have followed a bad trend, we seem to care more for other juniors while we neglect our own !!!

Exciting centre Jacob Kiraz had given up on his dream to play for the Bulldogs after the club he loved knocked him back twice, but now he has a big decision to make on his future.

Jacob Kiraz had given up of his dream playing for the bulldogs

Media giving their usual negative slant on the club by saying club rejected him twice before but fail to highlight we gave him the opportunity on the big stage in our colours. That is a show of faith from the club. Also, just to point out, half a game doesn’t make him Katoni Staggs

You underestimate what he did for his first game of first grade

Couldn't have done much more in a poorly performing team. It was a brilliant debut and hopefully we've witnessed a career that will reach the heights of some of our greatest centres.

Big shoes to fill but lets hope he progresses to the likes of Vagana, Morris, Curry, Tonga.

Why not :grinning:

The more and more crap they spin in general and on the club the more credibility they lose, its like the boy who cried wolf.

He's staying but people need to stop getting ahead of themselves. So many players in recent years have shown ability yet failed to kick on because we're a graveyard for developing talent.

Lets give encouragement to potential even if we are a mess atm. This guy still has a career to carve out so lets get behind him and hope Gus is fixing that development black hole of the recent past.

Great debut. But in typical media fashion they're over rating him big time based on 40 minutes of football.

Next time he plays out opposition coaching staff will have done some homework on him. I hope he's still as good in his future games, but it's a bit of a wait and see deal.
