Michael Potter has been in charge for 9 games now so I didn't count the first 3 games as it took us about that many games to be use to his system.

01. Panthers = 10, +66
02. Cowboys = 10, +48
03. Sharks = 10, +47
04. Bulldogs = 8, +58
05. Raiders = 8, +22
06. Rabbitohs = 8, +19
07. Eels = 8, +12
08. Roosters = 6, +42

09. Sea Eagles = 6, +36
10. Broncos = 6, +0
11. Dragons = 6, -32
12. Storm = 4, -20
13. Tigers = 2, -41
14. Knights = 2, -62
15. Warriors = 2, -70
16. Titans = 0, -74

There's no denying the impact Potter has had on the squad. If he was coaching to start the season, we'd be close to sneaking into the top 8.

If Ciraldo is a done deal, Potter has to be the lead assistant with a huge role in our attack because we're playing the most enterprising attacking footy we've seen since Des' first season..

I had a sense we were close to top 4 in the last month with how enterprising we became. We have a lot of improvement in us - more than most of the teams in the top 8.

Mate forget sneaking into the 8. We'd be close to sneaking into the Top 4. Even with Baz there were 3-4 games we should have won. Those games alone would put us in the 8.

If Ciraldo can get us fit and turn us into a good defensive side, I'm expecting to be pushing for a top 4 spot next year....even with that dud Flanno at 7

Baz had no clue, you dont sign talented kids in the backs like fox and burto and constantly play block plays.
Our d has improved alot too as has our error rate.
Still think we need to be fitter

Im loving the style we're playing but I just wanna see a bit more shape in our attack where we don't look like a chook with it's head cut off lol. But I'm sure that'll be worked on in the off season.

Here is a question....

Is it Potters coaching

OR

Lack of Baz's coaching?
Baz was hell bent on drilling the cookie cutter system into the boys who didn’t suit that style. I don’t think Baz had a plan b or c

Potter just simplified the attack and played to the squads strengths…kudos

So good watching this brand of footy

It’s been a minute for us long suffering fans

Was there anyone who actually wanted Barrett in the first place
I know forums are divided on coachs, players we should sign etc
But did anyone really think Barrett was a good coach before he signed ?
