Talakai - Grade 3. No arms, pure shoulder straight into the jaw. 10 in the bin

If it was me - Hetherington gets 10 mins and a grade 1. Pereira gets penalised but thats it (and even then its pushing it). Talakai gets sent and a grade 3.

Wonder if Talakai did that to Cordner rather than Doorey whether the outcome would have been different...

The problem here is Hetherington shouldn't of been sent off, 10 in the bin was fine (the referee saw Hetherington's crazy eyes and remembered his reputation and overreacted). If we compare Hetherington and Talakai's, Talakai's is much worse, literally everything about it.

Everything is inconsistent when it comes to us.
Talakai's hit was FAR worse, FAR more dangerous and had a FAR bigger impact on the game, but the punishment was not fit for the crime.
Vice versa for Hetherington.

Just like the way the media beat up the dogs for apparently sacking Dean Pay last year when in reality, he was just told that he wouldnt be there next year and decided to leave then and there. Sharks do the EXACT same to John Morris and you hardly hear a peep about it, despite his results being far better than Dean Pay's.................

i dont like grading its another way off treating players differently just like the 6 again rule treating teams differently. Some teams get away with it others pay the price.
Right now rules in nrl are inconsistent and applied at discretion. Everyone has an opinion on a decision made and can never be a fair sport.

Pissed about Hetherington for sure but Pereira - just have no idea what you're meant to do when the ball player drops to 1 knee just as contact is coming at 100 miles per hour. Cannot stand the drags but ffs - thats real harsh...

especially when tedesco slips over coming out of the toilet. Zero penalty if a player slips and falls into an arm.
