The whole organisation is a fail by allowing our club to go down the shitter, they do realise we as a club represent their brand and we attract alot of support lmaoo, they couldve put a stop to the backended deals and sanctioned us to protect their brand but clearly they dont give a fuck lolol wat a fucking fail hahaha

We are the least of the NRLs problems... and do you honestly think Greenberg cares about our clubs demise, given he could simply stamp out such contracts or state they cannot be registered with the NRL.

Maybe it's about time the NRL looked to overwork the system. Rather than CLUBS paying players, the NRL does.

You do realize the mess we were left from des and co was never going to be fixed in 1 season ? We are in a hole thats going to take time to get out.this year hasn't bothered me next years not going to be much better . after that if pay is the right man for the job will need a season or 2 to build something and sign a few key positions and hopefully we may become a force again.
Unless a bit of luck goes our way we aint going to be a top 4 team for a few years to come , even then that is not a sure thing

I don't think the club is over the cap anymore for this year or the following years . What I think the club is doing is stripping the team to fix the cap once and for all as it seems some areas are overpaid .. ie too much cap taken by wingers/second rowers etc.

If you look at the assessmbled side that Des Had created , makeshift fb (hoppa) makeshift half (Mbye) over reliance on forwards and and prop happy . Ffs they let go of one high income earning prop in graham and got another one in woods when cap was a mess.

The team needs to be stripped and rebuilt and that actually means a few years of pain and that is ok as long as it get fixed and club not put in same position again .

If everyone keeps banging on about short term performances , the dogs will truly become a mess like the eeels and will never recover

When are the NRL going to realise rugby league is failing at grassroots resulting in a much smaller pool of players to choose from for first grade.

So many kids love the sport at first but lose confidence once they're being outmuscled by much bigger kids at around 10 -14 years of age.

Small kids with good ball talent and speed generally go to soccer because they just can't tackle kids twice their size.

If league could just relax the strict age rules it would keep more kids in the sport until they grow up.

You are correct in what your saying. We are like a franchise to the nrl. These contracts should not have been allowed by the nrl. They react when a coach critises a ref and fine them for giving the game a bad name but when a club is continuously struggling like the dogs with salary cap issues that doesn’t matter. As much as the club is responsible so is the nrl. Our club is trying to stay under the cap, with the way some clubs are signing our players you wonder whether those clubs are doing the same. Some how I doubt it and when a club is over the nrl just slaps them with a fine. Not the dogs we lose points. Maybe other clubs are happy to do that just to pay a fine. Not an even playing field. The nrl alone is giving itself bad publicity.

It's that last comment in the article that needs to be addressed and stamped out of junior league.

It's the wrong mind set kids grow at different rates, adults can compensate for size with muscle building but kids can't.

I've seen it so many times, kids that can accurately kick goals, sprint, hold, pass the ball .. All leave for soccer because they get thrown around like ragdolls or crushed in tackles by bigger kids and then come off the field disillusioned and defeated by big fat kids without skill. No offence to big fat kids but just saying
