You like a punt then?
I do, but it has nothing to do with the incompetent decision made today.

But it's not just the decision I'm pissed off about. I hate the whole escort rule. There should be no such rule as "escort". If you are not taken out by foul play, you don't deserve to get to the ball untouched.

What next? You penalise the fullback contesting the ball for bumping you off? Is that an escort too? Why not? Contact was made and the opposition didn't roll out the red fekking carpet for you!

I believe you are misinterpreting the rules. A referee "not calling an obstruction" is not a referee making a decision that leads to a structured restart of play.

Full time also isn't a stoppage that results in a structured restart of play. And the ref hadn't made a ruling on obstruction, so it can't be challenged. If the ref had ruled an obstruction, then that can be challenged.

A referee not making a decision, is not a decision by the referee. A non-decision can't be challenged, or else every moment in the game could be deemed a decision and be challenged.
I'm gunna be nice. You're reading your interpretation of the rules. I sort of agree with you. But - others may differ.

Its an obstruction. So legit there.

Incidents not detected by the match officials can't be challenged if there is no stoppage.

FT is a stoppage. Don't agree with it but it is what it is.

Should be more focussed on how Feldt jumps into the defender and its called obstruction by a dude with replays. FFS - and I dare to say - thats a Barry Gomersell level call.

we got screwed at Kogarah

it happens move on
Most of us haven't moved on from that. Fuck Jamie Soward aka The Milkman..

Or when we got docked 2 competition points because Bobcat was 14th man on the field 50 metres away from when we scored the match winning try against Penrith.

Or us getting way bigger fines, loss of competition points and restricted cap than any club in history for cheating the cap..

Some shit you never forget..

What are we talking about here. There was plenty of foul play involved with the last escort I had. Balls definitely didn’t deserve to go untouched, and didn’t.

Well hopefully we see clarification tomorrow when Annesley breaks it down and makes it clear.

It's not match fixing, just peak incompetence.
too many ‘grey area’ rules that are ‘open to interpretation’ leads to incompetence. that and a lack of confidence in officials due to constant media scrutiny means their judgement is likely impaired. but on the flip side, calls like the one the cows got with 1 second to go leave the officials open to criticism. vicious cycle i guess?

Can the conspiracy theorists explain the below to me, in respect to betting agencies rigging the NRL, and how a cowboys win benefits betting agencies?

Note: there would've been heaps of people backing the Cowboys and very few backing the Tigers.

Yep. Weird bet though: Risk $200k to win $10k?
Thats how pro gamblers roll though, they've also got their algorithms working out "safe" bets and "safe" sports. This could have been a bet to cover losses across the wk/wkend

Thats the thing though bro, tigers were paying $9, you'd get the odd person saying put $20 or $50 for shits and giggles, if it happens it happens

But it wouldn't match the outlay of serious gamblers who all would've taken cowboys

Thats why I don't believe that the gambling agencies influence results in sports. Favourites winning is worse off for them
