Reports in Australia claim one club is very keen on landing the Giants' teenage sensation.

Canberra Raiders are believed to be the first NRL club to register their interest in Huddersfield Giants star Will Pryce, report the Daily Telegraph.
According to agents in the UK, the Raiders have been in contact with Pryce’s father and former Great Britain international Leon, however the club themselves are yet to confirm any discussions.

The 19-year-old halfback or fullback has two more years left on his Huddersfield contract, however Canberra would reportedly be willing to pay a transfer fee to secure his services.
Pryce is widely touted as one of the brightest talents in Super League after breaking onto the scene with the Giants last year.

He also earned his first senior international honours in the Autumn, starring for the England Knights in their win over Jamaica.
He would be the latest in a long line of British stars to make the move to the Australian capital.
Elliott Whitehead, Josh Hodgson and Ryan Sutton are mainstays in the Raiders’ first team, while current Super League stars John Bateman and George Williams have also had successful spells there.

Canberra officials are also believed to be planning a scouting mission to Britain in order to cast their eyes on other emerging talent.

Six players, including Pryce, are reportedly on the radar of NRL clubs and will be monitored at this year’s World Cup.

St Helens trio Alex Walmsley, Morgan Knowles and Regan Grace are on that list, as are Leeds centre Harry Newman and Hull FC fullback Jake Connor.

However, Saints coach Kristian Woolf laughed off the possibility, saying: "Clubs can desire them all they want but at the end of the day, they’re not going to be going anywhere.

Has Ricky not learned anything yet from trying to create Australias first ESL team? It rarely works.
