What is loud and clear is not even going to give Flanagan a chance with a better pack and halves partner. He's got a line through his name permanently it seems. Off to superleague I guess
Hopefully he's gone haha. Seems like Wakeham is the only other with a shot followed by BBO who the club probably prefers as a utility at this stage.

He probably nails a lot of it in training and off the pitch and is showing a high enough level of understanding and improvement. The issue is putting it all together on the pitch where you have to manage things like pressure, fatigue, etc. As you said he has a better halves partner next season, we've also got better forwards and outside backs. He's got a lot more support and tools to work with, I'm backing him and expecting improved performances. If not then it will probably be more than just him on the chopping block.

I don't know anything, I onto deal in MCK's and stuff.. :tearsofjoy:
If he can't produce with the opportunities our forward recruits should provide, then he's simply not going to be an NRL half. He's not an organiser either, but Burton has the kicking game to take most of that on. Avo's biggest strength is his speed and footwork, hence he needs offloads etc to show his stuff.

Not that I want him in the team but it's almost like he was to be picked, I'd probably rather him picked at 7. He is a 'specialist' half back, he would bring absolutely zero 'utility' value as a 14.

Hopefully Failagain will get a gig in the ESL by round 1..
Failing that.maybe the Batley Bulldogs are in need of a highly skilful, quick between the ears halfback..
If they fail to find one of those, they might settle for someone of Kyle’s calibre..hahahaha

Let's see...If the season starts with no trials I believe this is the most favorable line up.
1 Dufty
2 Burns / Allan
3 Averillo........... I wish he learns how to defend there
4 Naden
5 JAC
6 Burton
7 Wakeham
8 Vaughan
9 JMK............................14 BBO
10 Thompson.............15 Suemanufagai
11 Hetherington........16 Patolo
12 Pangai jnr...............17 King
13 Jackson....................18 Topine
Then comes the trials, there will be surprises !!!

My God ... with the players we have to pick from next year, that has to be the worst squad someone could come up with.
