Powerful rugby league player agent Isaac Moses will not be permitted to represent players after his accreditation was formally cancelled by the NRL.

© Provided by Sporting NewsMoses had his accreditation cancelled by the League in June after he was found to have ‘breached his obligations as an Accredited Agent’ in 2017.The NRL alleged that Moses told former Eels front-rower Tim Mannah to give false evidence that would mislead the NRL Integrity Unit. Having appealed the decision, Moses was on Thursday informed the decision would be upheld, seeing his accreditation formally cancelled."Mr Moses’ accreditation is formally cancelled with effect from today," the NRL said in a statement on Friday."The Committee, chaired by the Honourable Ian Callinan AC QC with panellists Mr Michael Cleary AO and Mr Max Krilich OAM, described Mr Moses’ breach as one of great seriousness, concluding that his accreditation should be cancelled."NRL Clubs may only negotiate NRL Playing Contracts with NRL Accredited Agents."As director of Cove Agency, Moses had a host of the game's biggest names in his stable, including Cameron Smith and Josh Hodgson, as well as big-name coaches Adam O'Brien and Anthony Seibold.

The NRL has informed players signed to Moses to contact the Players' Association for further information regarding contracts they signed while with the player agent.

They are free to terminate those contracts if they wish, potentially earning themselves a decent wedge in the form of agent fees, alternatively they may sign with another agent.

Probably not much at all as they are contracted to his management company not him directly. He’ll just be pulling the strings in the back ground. It might hurt his brand with young up and coming players that haven’t finalised an agent more than current contracted players.
