I got the same, with us winning every game bar the Manly one and with the Knights losing to most sides.

If Knights loose next week against Warriors then Brisbane and then if we keep our streak and vs them we need to then beat them to be 8th because even though after two looses for the Knights points difference will come in play

We will miss out on for-and-against. We will lose one if our remaining games (likely against Manly) and the Knights and Tigers have a relatively easy run home so it isn't looking good.

Knights have Broncos, Warriors, Bulldogs and Bunnies. I wouldn't consider that an easy run by any standards. In fact you'd be better off versing St Merge right now.

If we're coming off 5 straight wins... who knows? =/

If we do lose to them, then all that making it to the 8 would have achieved is a new contract for Jimmy Dymock.

Exactly. We'll just be making up the numbers in the 8. Pretty much a training run for whoever plays us.
