Very few rays of light in that bunch, definitely no messiah.
Backs- Gutherson maybe
Halves - Cleary and Cook but neither are coming to the dogs any time soon, cook is about to resign with souths and cleary will stay at the Panthers or link with his old man.
Forwards - Hess and Kaufusi but we dont really need back rowers and dont say RCG, he does less and makes more mistakes then Woods! how he is a starting origin prop is a joke

Who cares - Bulldogs should be looking to inject whatever salary cap space we have back into the juniors and ISP players still with us with potential.

To be fair though contracts dont mean shit these days. The tigers landed Mbye and he wasnt off contract until 2020. Same goes with the swap between Maloney and Moylan

Particularly with Juniors who love and want to play for our Club.
Without a doubt - why bother wasting $$ on trying to bring players in when they're not what the club is all about.

If we truly want culture change and Pay is dead set about that then he will invest everything back into the team and build that culture from the ground up.

Cleary wont be on that list for long. Panthers will lock him long term. I like gutho and Hampton. Both footballers . Those halves arent much either.

We missed out on ponga hard
We had 2 mill in the bank and spent it on woods and Foran
I was crying from the rooftop to throw the kitchen sink at ponga
U know a kid is special when he has 10 plus clubs and 3 sports vying for his signature
He’s on 750 at the knights now
Imo he’s already worth double that in 12 rounds this year.

Apparently his old man is a bit hungry for the $$$. Ponga is a $1m player easy now and he’s just started his long contract.

He would be getting rep payments etc but it won’t make up the fact that he is on a low base salary.

I reckon his time with the knights will go downhill fast cos of this.

Seeing as the Roosters signed Crichton with all of their unlimited cap space, maybe Radley could be made an offer he can't refuse? The Rorters seem to be sticking with Friend for a while and Radley is too good not to be playing 80 minutes a game.

Hopefully Politis' greed will eventually cost him someone good but it's wishful thinking, I know, considering they operate under a 25 million dollar cap.

We need to start going after players who might be forced out like other clubs have been to us for years now.

Give him something to think about maybe - a 10 year contract?
