Agree, mentioned Dufty and Moylon as real possibilities. However I wouldn't discount Hayze Perham making it his own, was rated alongside if not better than all fullbacks including Papenhuyzen in NSW cup a few years ago

That was always my issue with the previous lot, but all we heard was bs spin from certain people at the club and posters on here supported that rubbish. It's pretty clear that what little money we did have we invested poorly and the only pull we had was Pay signing duds he coached in 20's on overs.

Thank God there was change last year across the club because we know damn well we wouldn't have signed shit after Cotric for 21 and not even have been active in the market for 22.

100% agree. Recruiting and retention decisions from the previous “lot” left a lot to be desired. Priest, Sue, Cogger, lichaa ... the list goes on.

It’s amazing how someone can go from admitting they don’t even bother watching our games and haven’t attended a game in years to suddenly knowing everything about every player including their strengths and weaknesses in every junior game since they were 12 and their salary. There’s 14 off contract end of 2021 so yes some will go - but unlikely all. Interested to see who improves under Baz before making calls this far out, not to mention who else becomes available closer to 2022.

All 14 of our off contract players end of this year would be able to be approached by other clubs for 2022. Do we know if any other clubs have shown interest in poaching any of our off contract stars from 2022?

Yes with Tolman missing alone that's a great start for us. Looks like the Sharks won't be scoring as many points this year. Less try assists for Johnson with Tolman in the friggin way often. Actually he might not be such a ball hog there since he's new to that team.

Without Tolman on the 4th to take a 3m settler with the goal line wide open our attacking options are looking much better already.

Just listened to a podcast with Warriors asst coach. They don’t see him as a fullback.

Good question. Not to my knowledge but unless any club has their eyes on a specific player for whatever reason, all that will most likely happen later when it’s known who we release. Of those we released last year, safe to say Foran going to Manly was the only predictable outcome - guys like Montoya, Cogger, Sue etc only got picked up after the season was over.

What else were they supposed to do with so little money? Anyway, that’s all in the past now and no need to go trawling through old arguments. The main thing is that with the cap shackles off now the club has recruited well for this year and we should definitely improve and improve again for 2022 to hopefully open a premiership window in the next 3 years.
