Because being a victim in the year 2020 is trendy. You can become famous just by being a victim.Why would anyone want to generate this sort of negative media attention? Give me one logical reason. I'm sure you can't. What possible reason would Bubba Wallace, his team members or Nascar have for seeking their own public character assassination?
No one knew who Bubba Wallace was before this (I certainly didn't, and 99% of Australia probably didn't either).
He had his car pushed ahead of every other driver's car in some sort of fake show of support only a few days ago.
There are benefits to being a victim, rather than a few decades ago when the benefits went to those who were competent.
The only motive for Jussie Smollett to fake his crime was to gain benefits through becoming a victim. When people start faking hate crimes that are so blatantly false that you have to laugh (when presented with the evidence), it's a clear sign that being a victim is a business model.
