What's your favourite drink? The drink you appreciate most. The drink you turn to when it's time to unwind after a big day to get you ready for a big day... Doesn't have to be alcoholic could be a type of home made juice, could be one of those gym junkie shakes or just plain old iced water, for some is there daily coffee...

Rules are you can only have one drink at the top with as many runners up as you want.

My go-to drink is Woolies homebrand granulated coffee, lots of Milke lots of sugar.

With VB as a runner up.View attachment 15149

My go too drinks:
Water
Alcoholic:
Green mark Russian vodka and carbonated lime water
JD and Diet Coke
Johnnie Walker green label (straight)
A few craft beer options if feeling beer

and coffee I have Nescafé gold blend at home or a maccachino (both skim milk) and if I come across it. Bullet proof coffee.

My boy! Nasheed,

That's as real as it gets my brother, I mean I'm a truck driver for crying out loud VB and cheap coffee is the caviar and champagne of the trucking 8ndustry.

As for the ladies, I got married real young to an absolutely wonderful woman who was to young and naive at the time to know anything about the social implications of being with a man who's beverage selection bar was set so low.

I suppose you could say I got real lucky Nasheed.

Well I like a nice whisky, and i actually had some on the weekend after not drinking alcohol the last two months. After this, I think I have come to the realization that i actually don't want to drink alcohol anymore. I know, crazy right. But after those two months I just feel like it's not needed and I wasn't really missing it either.

Anyhow, non alcohol wise I would say coffee is my everyday starter and tropical juice is my usual go-to throughout the day. Herbal tea at night before bed with a couple of Scotch Fingers.

I'm getting older and turning into my parents so it seems :tongueclosed:

What i've learned is the the price between shit and good beer really isn't that much - not much more than a dollar a can.

At the start of Covid, I was baulking at shelling out $80+ for a case of beer, but it's still a lot cheaper than drinking stale rubbish at the pub.

Actually, one thing I will say is: I really don't miss the pub (an this is from heavy drinker). On Friday nights, I've come to really enjoy a home cooked steak and few locally brewed ales at home (from a case delivered to my door).

To begin with I missed the pub and socialising, but after two months I actually feel different to that now. I thought once pubs opened up I would be right back their, but no I literally have no interest in doing so. On Saturday night I walked past a few pubs and was actually happy to just walk on by. I also have noticed how much extra money I have saved during these times. I think I adapted to enjoying being at home, and maybe too as we are coming into winter helps this cause.

I've been drinking just as much, just at home instead. I've got a decent home with a pool table, so have been trying to get mates to come to mine instead... and at the end of the evening, I don't have to work out how to get home.

That is very true, good point. To be honest I prefer to go to a mates place instead of the pub, just most of my mates usually just go to the pub so that's what we do. Saturday just gone a girlfriend of mine had a small gathering at hers and it was good fun. Played some drinking games like beer pong for example, had the tunes going, chilling around the bonfire with a bbq feed, everyone just chilled and enjoying the company.

MC my brother - fuel tankers
Those guys are rich.

you should consider working from the ports? Some of those MC guys are on easy street. Just doing circles of Friendship and Simblist road. I know the hookups.

Once you've done fuel you don't really want to do anything else in the trucking industry anyway.

Way to many pros, barely any cons.

Very rewarding work, good community, heaps of time off, good money, home every night and great work life balance.

Flipping the truck exploding into a big fire ball would suck,at least if your driving a tanker full of milk you crash you get a bunch of kittens cleaning up the mess
