Yes but even when QLD are out of form they just gel and play so well as a unit.

NSW is always so many different players, and they have NFI how to work as a unit. This year is going to see a whole bunch of new players again, and I am pretty confident that if they do win, it will be very hard fought and close.

So many positions have 2 or 3 people who could do it, but hardly any positions have someone knocking the damn door down and owning the spot.

To a degree.

Massive leadership vacuum left without Cronk and Thurston, and Smith can't do it all.

It really comes down to Freddie picking the right mix of players and not being obsessed with things like "Monster Packs"

What would be your actual side. Personally I think that side has to many players who are either not ready or can't perform at origin level. Players like Tedesco and Bird are out of form but will be likely to fire up soon no doubt.

For 5 Tommy turbo would be my option, for 7 I would pick Maloney ( no cleary, sad ), for 1 I would consider Teddy but it depends if he fires by then, I like dufty TBH. Players like De belin, Vaughen, McInnes and Aubusson are interesting but may not be picked, can see Jacko be slotted in.

More signature players such as Teddy need to be included.
