Personally I don’t see a problem if consenting adults want to be polygamous... but it is a seperate issue to the ssm debate and allowing ssm is not setting any sort of precedent in relation to polygamy. One scenario involves two adults, the others involve multiple. Any comparison between the two is clumsy and inaccurate imo. Seperate issues that would require completely seperate debates.

If the basis of the no campaign was the simple idea of equality then those people have in effect said that marriage has no definition apart from ensuring equality.
