Yeah your point still stands, little mermaid is a white character, made by a white writer. Let’s be honest we give no fkd about little mermaid lol, but it’s the clear hypocrisy that is fkd up.
Colombian American lollll it’s like they can’t have white anything anymore.
Exactly, stop changing the characters origins just to score browny points with the woke, identity politics, PC brigade and what forth.

I watched Out Of Death on Saturday night. It's out in the cinemas soon. It's got Bruce Willis in it in what I would describe as a supporting role. Some photojournalist catches a dirty cop in action with her camera and now that cop and her partner need to find that photojournalist and clean up the mess.

I would say it's a low budget movie as only about 10 people have dialogue in it.

6/10.

  • Sean Boswell, Twinky, and Earl from Tokyo Drift all return... in a pretty damn stupid capcity
  • Mia returns and has learnt how to fight
  • It is revealed how Han survived his death from Tokyo Drift
  • This movies action sequences are not as big as previous movies, but still pretty damn big
  • I predicted that a Fast & Furious movie would one day be set on the rings of Saturn. That didn't happen... however they did end up in outer space (yes, you read that right)
  • John Cena is NOT suited to these movies and I hope he never returns to the franchise
  • I nearly starting tripping out when Brian returns at the end in his Skyline
  • Jason Statham returns and this will lead us in F10 (just like his appearance in F6 lead into F7)
  • Some unknown Asian hottie also debuts as a friend of Hans
  • The movie tries (as much as possible) to tie together characters from previous movies together in this one, including Stasiac from F4 and F6
  • Kurt Russell does appear in this movie however his fate is not revealed.
Didn’t read this cause I don’t want to see the spoilers but I LOVE this series. One of my favourite movie series of all time. I know it is lame and it a is a long way from what it started out as and attempted to be (illegal street racing) but the characters are awesome. That being said interested to see how it goes cause 8 just wasn’t the same without Paul Walker!! Anyways is it worth seeing (I will see it regardless but interested to know your thoughts)

Somehow I missed this when it came up a few weeks back, but I am so looking forward to it.

The Frank Herbert Dune series is probably the greatest book series ever written and the first series I read as a kid. So a new portrayal of the series has me super hyped

Saw the latest fast & furious movie tonight since my nephew had free tickets and wanted me to go see it with him.

If you can ignore the poor dialogue, bad acting, stunts that defy physics, shithouse plot, over the top unrealistic fight scenes and the awful music tracks in it, I'd say it gets a 3/100 score from me. I really enjoyed the credits when they arrived. I was glad to see them.
You sound like me i think the whole lot are unbelievable crap!

I'm pretty much at the point now where I won't pay to watch anything that has a former wrestler as a major character either and the series seems to be using this crutch now too.

Fatman (Mel Gibson Santa Claus movie)

Watch it if you're bored and it'll make you even more bored. The whole movie is about 1 & 1/2 hours of setup for a 2 minute fight and a boring ending.

Boogie Nights is a 1997 American period drama film written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. It is set in Los Angeles's San Fernando Valley and focuses on a young nightclub dishwasher who becomes a popular star of pornographic films, chronicling his rise in the Golden Age of Porn of the 1970s through to his fall during the excesses of the 1980s

Saw this year's back and loved it and watched this again last night for the first time in years and was still mesmerised.

Wow, where to start.

Outstanding acting all round, except for whalberg who did a serviceable job imo (pun intended)
Amazing script, weaving elements of mostly drama with comedy and action sprinkled inbetween.
Very well directed and shot with angles and panning zooms really capturing the feel of every scene, admittingly Paul Thomas Anderson "borrowed" a lot from other directors, and didn't really establish his own style until his follow up Magnolia but it worked perfectly here.
Brilliant cinematography really captures the look and feel of the 70's feel good vibe and finally a brilliant soundtrack makes this one of the best movies of the 90's.

I was a big fan of the Matrix movies, and was hoping this would be good, but this just looks like an uninspired cash grab. Seems like just about every scene is just remade scenes from the original movie. I shouldn't be surprised, movies are just garbage these days.

Edit: I just noticed this new movie was written and directed by Lana Wachowski. Remembering the original movies were by the Wachowski brothers I thought oh no it's not by their daughter or something. No, turns out BOTH the Wachowski brothers are now trans women lol. You just know this will be full of woke bullshit they ruin just about everything with.

Man this is a pretty good movie. Gets into it straight away and shows how brilliant his minds worked and how he recovered and got what he was after.
