I think you’re right about mental health. That’s why I think telling people that chopping your genitals off to change the cosmetic look isn’t helping anyone’s mental health but worsening that individuals mental health along with societies.
Also msm need to stop callling every attack a mental health one to avoid certain terminologies. I think we spoke about this before because it’s a massive insult to people dealing with actual mental health issues.

In some respects it’s a brave movie..not something I’d expect from the director of the Hangovers!!

Yeah neither did I. There was an article the other day him blasting the left saying they’re just as bad as the far right and it’s opened his eyes. Slowly people are having their eyes opened.
Is there reference to like socialists being evil in joker? I’m asking coz I’m assuming more than anything that’s why they’re bashing this film and using everything else as an excuse to justifyingly bash it

I watched Joker today. Absolutely stunning film. Every aspect, especially the acting and cinematography, was great.

It really managed to make the audience understand what goes through the Joker’s mind. I wish that it was this version instead of Leto’s version that was in the DCEU.

Also, something I found interesting. This movie, along with Rambo (which was great btw), show the clear disconnect between “critics” and the audience.

Just goes to show that critics rate the movie based on its (and its directors / cast) politics, and not the movie itself.

There were some riots, very similar to the Antifa/left protests (fascist signs and all that), but mainly the fact that the media want to create mass hysteria because the Joker is white, therefore apparently every white person will go shoot up a theatre.

Honestly I left thinking society needs to do more for mental health.. As help truly has decayed..mental institutions being closed down to have their land sold for governments to keep a surplus.. It also left me thinking how selfish the world has become..But it didn’t make me want to go out and kill people because I feel oppressed.. If anything I felt the opposite..thinking it’d be better if we are more kind to each other..and listen to each other..so we won’t see characters like Arthur Fleck go so far..

Ahh Nicolas Cage, you've been in some great flicks over the years and some absolute shockers that have nearly made my eyes bleed, or had me pissing myself laughing due to your over the top "acting" but yet there's something compelling about you that makes me watch almost every one of your direct-to streaming bombs that seems to get released every other week.

This one really is no different. A plot that could have been executed a lot better, pretty weak script, although surprisingly solid direction with decent enough performances make this one a soild midnight movie, although completely forgettable it kept me somewhat entertained at least

This movie become frustrating to watch when you consider that all the chick needs to do is source a gun and cap the mtoherfucker. Get's very frustrating after the 4th or 5th time she dies.

I'll be honest... the only reason I watched this movie was because one of my 90s dream girls was in it... and boy, does the young J Lo have it or what? DAYUM. Jennifer Love was in her prime in this movie, absolutely FLAWLESS. Her fighting moves made her all the more hotter to watch. If anyone here is familiar with Jackie Chan's fighting style from movies such as those of the Rush Hour series, then you'll be familiar with his moves in this film as well, except there's a lot more of it all mashed into one movie. The storyline was meh, but the action and everything involving J Lo jr was AWESOME!

Also saw the joker today. But unlike the brilliant wordmanship from the above posters, I'm probably not gonna tell you anything you haven't already read lol.
But yes it is very confronting at times and the whole feel of the movie is quite eerie. JP nailed the character, to the point where I felt like I was right there with him both in person and in his head. It's quite well done.

Movies like that make me feel like I'm in the movie with the main actor every step of the way.

I thought Wayne was a Trump figure too..actually I don’t think he was great..he was an arrogant prick who was one of the many reasons that the world that was inhabited in the movie had gone to shit..a selfish egotistical figure..an integral figure that triggered the fall of Fleck..
