Looking good bro
I will mate.
Thank you. I use metholated spirits to clean dirt of the track. Is that ok?
Thanks man. I am really enjoying how the layout is turning out.
Yes, metho is OK. Isopropyl doesn't leave any residue, which is why I prefer it. Cork won't scratch the surface of the tracks - which can leave dirt traps.
here are a couple of shots of my Swiss layout - still very much a work in progress. The second shot shows the impact of a photo backdrop.
Lovely shots Chris. Keep them coming.
fk me dead chris that is amazing - take a pic of the whole thing and also a video of the trains
A couple more shots of the Swiss layout. Part of the forest, and station area.
This is the new layout. Just in it's infancy. Track is complete; but it needs ballasting. The town will come along as I go. Theses are laser cut kits that need a bit of putting together and painting. The goods shed in the lower photo was weathered by brushing powdered black chalk onto the roof and walls.
I play Xbox and you build these
My life sucks lol
Bahahahahaha speaking of you on tonight? I need to get a shoot in .will be in jail for next few days so no Xbox for me , cant even wear my fucking green bunnings beanie in there
Doesn't sound like fun. Take care in there.
Lol not this one , will be in the crims cells doing work , but keeps you on your toes and eyes on power tools when you gots a murderer less than a meter away from you . Most of them dont bother you but theres always1 or 2 or smart arses
Keep the nail gun away from sight.
Hey Chris do you still use analogue or dcc for your layout?
Also do you use analogue or dcc to operate your layout?
How rare is 4102? Never seen one, very detailed hobby.
I inherited my father's old school trains including old Sydney rattlers and diorama pieces. I have the space in my garage to build something, but haven't brought myself around to start.
I use DC, but have just purchased a sound equipped Eureka CPH Railmotor, which works on DC but would be better on DCC. I might consider a DCC starter kit and have decoder chips installed in the 48 and 41. Shouldn't cost too much, and gives better flexibility.
The Swiss layout is DC, and will stay that way.
