The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs continue the development of their sponsor base with the re-signing of Metro Petroleum for a further year.

Metro Petroleum has one of the largest independent service station networks in Australia, with over 200 service station outlets across NSW, Victoria, Queensland and Perth. Proudly and fully Australian owned; Metro Petroleum has been operating service stations retails for the past 40 years. The company provides services to over 40 000 private and commercial clients across Australia, with a wide reaching community presence in regional and metropolitan areas, with a commitment to provide competitive fuel prices and excellent service to customers, particularly in regional areas.

Metro Petroleum first started sponsoring the Bulldogs last season and will appear on the top back of Bulldogs training shirts, in addition to signage on game days.

Elliott probably can't afford petrol after his fine.

Bulldogs members should get an extra 10 cents off the petrol! They make the price up out of thin air every day anyway.

I find Metro Punchbowl to be more consistent with their prices than the other "brand" name outlets around them. There's doesn't go up 40 cents in a day.

Servos don't make much out of actual petrol sales - it's all in the overpriced stuff you buy in the shop.

But a discount of, say 4c a litre would be good, like coles and woolies - and here in QLD, RACQ members get 4c off at Matilda/Puma. A rewards card we could swipe at other sponsors woud be good.

I was only half joking but it would be handy!

At least they are keeping the theme, shit fuel for shit cars.

@Blue_boost would you use Metro fuel for your Camry?

You do know it’s Mobil fuel right? And pretty much all petrol sold in Sydney comes from Singapore? That we don’t have any refineries in NSW anymore? So regardless what servo you fill up at you’re almost certainly getting the same stuff?

The only difference is the additives that Shell, 7-Eleven (also Mobil fuel), Caltex, Westside, Metro, BP etc put in their fuel once they buy it...

Serious? What happened to the Shell refinery? Is it just fuel storage?
