I doubt it mate.

The elements I detest are related to the commercialisation of the game day experience - from the introduction of players (sound off for each sponsor), to when players are subbed off (sound off again for sponsors), lack of atmosphere (regardless of how well/bad we were competing) , exuberant pricing (I think a bottle of water at ANZ was $4.80?)....
Agree with match day experience etc,but honestly a pie and a bottle of water I paid $10 at anz, that’s not bad,

Onto my 17th season as a member.
Downgraded a few years back because I wasn’t attending games - went from attending 20+ games a season to maybe 1? The game day experience is shocking.

But.. want to support my club
I hate the music being blasted like we're at an American carnival, this happens NRL clubs wide too on away games. I would rather something a little more 'back to basics' like the premiere league, let the crowd build up the atmosphere. Pre match and halftime entertainment is ok to do whatever but not mid game, just get the mascot mid game and those cannons with merchandise blowing out mid game now and then.
Scrum time for example is an opportunity for a chant or team song instead we're deafened by top 40s music

Agreed mate.

I also detest how the teams run out separately, leading to incessant booing from one side and cheers from another. I love the premier league approach of running out together.

Can’t blame the club tbh

As a nation, we are logistically fucked from every avenue. Trust me.

I have actually heard of suppliers unable to provide stock to Woolies cause they had no pallets

I got my pack today, the mask is a total waste of money. The strings are not adjustable and not even the same length! So one side is tight and causes it to bow open which makes it useless. No nose piece to crimp it down. I guess the only purpose would be to cover a disposable one as they are not fit for purpose on their own. (note this is not the one on the Bulldogs Shop) this is a plain white one with 2022 Member on it.

I was merely pointing out a single aspect of one (of probably a million things) that the EPL do better than the NRL.

Imagine the atmosphere if BOTH teams ran out to cheers, rather than half a stadium cheering than half booing.

Granted - the NRL will never been in the same stratosphere as the EPL in terms of... well... everything? But that is just one thing I feel that the game day experience that would work so much better.

Would be nice to hear your thoughts mate, or are you just here to take things out of context?

:unamused: After a false start due to wrong membership details we had to wait for new details to be sent to us and had to start the process again in relation to ordering merchandise pack.
Because they got our years of membership wrong it affected our entitlements but finally got to do the order today. Additionally they sent only one of the e tickets for the membership so that delayed things as well. Have ordered a physical entry card for each of us but 5-7 weeks delivery time, although the guy at membership said we should be okay for the season kick off. If we haven't received things prior to our first home game we need to ring them so they can arrange for a ticket to be held at the box office for us.Ordered a mask for each of us so it is disappointing with the information here.At least you could pick things so not the same old cap...Used up nearly $20 of the credit in postage and that was not priority..that was around double the amount..

Anyone still waiting on there member packs to arrive? I placed my order 8th December, received an email on 11/12 advising 5-7 weeks wait. Received another email 1/1 saying 3-4 weeks but they would send another email with a tracking number once it is lodged with Aus post, and haven't heard anything since...

Sent a follow up today but thought to check here if others had already done some chasing
