Onto my 17th season as a member.
Downgraded a few years back because I wasn’t attending games - went from attending 20+ games a season to maybe 1? The game day experience is shocking.

But.. want to support my club
that would be. good tweet to send to Gus

I doubt it mate.

The elements I detest are related to the commercialisation of the game day experience - from the introduction of players (sound off for each sponsor), to when players are subbed off (sound off again for sponsors), lack of atmosphere (regardless of how well/bad we were competing) , exuberant pricing (I think a bottle of water at ANZ was $4.80?)....

Mine had nothing in the attachment and the links didn't work either. I advised the club, so we'll see what they come back with.
Same and same.

I don't have an Apple wallet thingy (don't have anything Apple), so that wasn't much use either. At least have it for Google Pay.

At least they tried.

Mate - anything you choose to go with should suit your budget, and profile for what you want out of it. I used to go with The Kennel (not even sure if that is a thing anymore) - then I just went with the yearly GA one - because I was not attending games. I've got a 15 month old now and a nephew who is dead keen on attending games - so in future years, I may bulk again and go with a higher package so we can enjoy the experience more.

If you think you'll attend x amount of games, then go ahead with a package that suits. If you like the benefits of the packages at the pointier end, then go with that. Don't feel like what you're doing needs to be put to a litmus test about what other people are doing - in my eyes - if you're a member for 1 game or 12, then you're member.

Membership is the lifeblood of any NRL club, so anything you can give to support them is always welcomed.

Never been a member before and thinking of signing up next season.

How do you go about bringing friends to a game if you have reserved seats?

I've had a look and expressed interest in being a member and the club called me yesterday to see if i wanted to purchase a membership, I'm thinking the 4 game flexi as i only really want to go to a handful of the 11 or 12 Sydney home games this year anyway - the main one being the game at Belmore. The 4 game flexi will get me into the games i want and is $99 for Kennel seats. The Kennel pack is all home games in Kennel seats at $198, for an extra $100 its better value, I just don't know how many games I'll actually be going to though so I'm a bit unsure what to do. I guess given the fact that the club is building into something we can all be proud of again, I'd like to show my support by signing up

I've got a mate thats a Souths member who has reserved seating at ANZ and me and the mrs go with him and his wife to the good friday games. we buy GA tickets and wait at the bar, him and his mrs show their reserved seating passes to get to the seats, he takes her pass when they get to the seats then he meets us at the bar and gives them to us and we walk through and sit next to them. when he's coming back to the seats he tells the person at the gate 'oh the mrs has the pass' and gets back in no problem. i'm sure there's a legitimate way of doing it, but this one has worked for us for the past few years

It shits me that South’s (my most despised team) don’t let Dogs members in that members lounge at ANZ on their home games yet we do let them on ours.

As I mentioned bud - you do you.

Are you going to go to the additional games by flexing to a bigger package? If it's value to you that you see as beneficial and gives you that peace of mind that if you do want to go - then yeah sure, go ahead.

If you want to do it to support the club purely and a secondary attend games - sure, go ahead.

It sounds like the worry may be how we go this year in terms of a team - perhaps start with the 4 game flexi and ask if you can upgrade as the year goes on?

I’m happy to see people coming out of the woodwork now we have a good team. It’s great for the club and has been very quiet at games the past few years

My issue is nobody would ever get a membership with me. And attending games on my own isnt fun for me. The mrs and her family are tigers supporters so we go to those games every year

Maybe think about a 4 game membership, and ask the missus to goto those games with you?

or get seats in the kennel so your surrounded by dogs fans

At least they tried.
They got back to me saying there was an issue and that they would email me another one.

As long as the PDF file works, that's fine with me. I don't bother with that wallet thingy.

The pdf worked on 2nd attempt. That's probably all I need. Looking forward to using my credit.

If you have an Android phone, download the PassWallet app and open the .pkpass file that you would have downloaded by clicking on the link. That way you can have a digital version of your membership pass on your phone. This worked for me.
