Eyes on 2022
The 2021 NRL season is over, with the Penrith Panthers crowned premiers.

There have been many challenges over the past two seasons as a result of the pandemic, including the entire competition shifting to Queensland this year following the completion of round 17, due to the COVID outbreak in New South Wales. However, with Vaccination rates increasing significantly - the idea of returning to the stands and showing your support for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs is looking likely for season 2022.

The Bulldogs have been very active in the player market over the course of the year, and have added more than 750 NRL games worth of experience to the roster, as well as premiership and representative players.

Arriving at Belmore will be: Matt Burton, Matt Dufty, Josh Addo-Carr, Paul Vaughan, Max King, Tevita Pangai Junior, Braidon Burns, Brent Naden, John Asiata and Josh Cook.

The ten new additions bring youth, experience, x-factor, character and leadership to a youthful group of players, led by the experienced Josh Jackson.

There are only three weeks left in the off-season as the pre-season fast approaches and the hard work begins in preparation for next year.

A host of the club’s rookie’s will return to Belmore in early November, while the remainder of the squad will commence training two weeks later, before a final group of players will start life in their new colours in early December.

Amongst the rookies returning in early November will be a number of talented junior players from its’ pathways teams, who will join the NRL pre-season and experience what is required at the elite level.

It’s an exciting time for everyone involved with the Bulldogs, with the club adding significant depth in all positions.

Over the coming weeks and months - memberships will go on sale, the 2022 draw will be announced, the new merchandise range will drop and the new look squad will come together, as they are put through their paces in a gruelling pre-season under the guidance of Head Coach Trent Barrett.

Yes made some enquiries last year, from memory I was quoted about $760 for an ordinary seat, but the better seats were all more than I currently pay for 2 platinums on the half way line, and I’m not interested in the A league or rugby so for me not value for money.

Down for auto renewal. I belong to a couple of AFL clubs as well - one of them is auto-renewing on Friday, and had the letter to me about 3 weeks ago.

I do both - Stadium and a donation to the club.
Dogs packages seem cheaper for 2022 compared to what I paid for 2021. Waiting to hear from StadAus re: how they’ll compensate given we lost an Origin, GF etc this year. One way or another I’ll be back onboard :-).

Bro what does that set you back?
You have to buy the membership right in the first year so it’s about $1500 first year but then around $800 annually after that. Not cheap but if you go to most Dogs games (it also gives you access to CommBank aka Bankwest for Dogs games) as well as Origin and Finals/GF it’s pretty good value. Also offers reciprocal rights to other venues around Australia. No, I do not work for the Stadium Australia sales team :-).

Thanks bro, appreciate the feedback. Kinda interested in the overall value it provides.
