my bet was for Master O'reily and it ran 4th. so wasn't too far off the mark

Yeah ok smartasses, considering the wet conditions in Melbourne early on Tuesday morning why wouldn't you put a lazy $10 on Viewed - who had a decent record on heavy wet tracks.

Some of us dont learn do we. I underestimated Rogan Josh in 99. And admittedly, I've been on a good streak since having never failed to place with my main tip since. I dont recall many of Barts runners over the years.

I judged Viewed based on solely recent runs and a little based on Strasbourgs entry into the Melb Cup recently where he won a lead-up but eventually failed over 3200.

Fair enough it's been 9 years between drinks for him. $41 was about right, but I had to learn the hard way and I'll be including Bart in my Cup-multiples for the rest of his career.

Congrats on your collect though ! I love hearing about peoples wins !

McEvoy is a thug. he is terrible late;y been butchering some good chances

Wow what a statement by a person who is trying to tell me to get a life. It was a valid statement, yes he has won 12 Melbourne Cups over a long period time and there is no way im downplaying him being the legend he is. Though it is a fact for the last 7 years i could have backed his horses and got nothing. Am i stupid, mad or?
