I dont have much interest either, but in my line of work it always means an afternoon of food and booze at someone else's expense. I dont even watch the race.

Nope. Ive seen horses running a straight line then they shit themselves and throw their front legs out.
You watch the jockey then start cracking the shit out of it, hoping to get some extra speed before the post.

Horses are smart but I doubt they play possum to win a race?
