Some opinions eventually become fact that most people can see and understand which certainly appears to be the case with Dean. Nice bloke but clearly the deficiency's in his training methods have resulted in his demise, they did not move him on because he is not a good bloke anymore. Or you can just point by point put up "meaningless dribble" yourself to quote a Twin phrase.1. It's a question not a fact. The answer being that Meaney was getting rag dolled and made no metres on kick returns and obviously Hopoate was more effective for us at centre.
2. It's a question not a fact. The obvious answer being because JO's dick got him deregistered and the NRL wouldn't let us replace him.
3. Meaningless dribble
4. How doe he know that Pay pushed for it?
5. They were players not already on long term contracts, plus we could actually afford them under our Cap constraints
6. Because Katoa was worse, as proven
7. Maybe there is nothing there to get out.
8. That started happening years prior, hasn't played for Australia since 2014, SOO since 2017
9. Meaney
10. Holland was the bench back up for a number of positions, hooker being one of them
11. How do you know Meaney was signed as an NRL fullback? Maybe as a CC fullback, or maybe like TTrbojevic, Tedesco and Slater etc was signed to spend some time at winger whilst learning NRL level fitness and consistency.
12. Plainly knows nothing about Steve James or what a skills coach actually does. The fact that some of the players can't retain the skills is a reflection on the players not the coaches.
13. He was a back up to the back up hooker and, as per #6 above, that was about his level.
Just my opinions of course.
Go Dogs
Yep, and Pay was also doing the same thing as well. Will never forget his smug face in an interview after the win. He made it clear that everybody knew he was responsible for the positional changes (Hoppa to Fullback, DWZ to wing) and that was why we won lolExactly the Broncos are awful. That win against us means nothing as they wont be able to win many games this year. Siebold is gooooooone
To be fair most people on this forum were doing the same thing after we beat the diabolical dragons in Rd 4. Barely beating a shit side is nothing to get excited about.
But giving it to us they are turning players, coaches, fans and even referees against us, it might be the reason why its hard to sign players.Honestly could not give three fifths of a fuck if the media are giving it to us.
Agreed. I'd be surprised if they weren't laying the boot in.Fuck the media
I heard your message read out on Talkin’ sport mate. Lots of kennel people contacting them todayThe media are acting like we killed Bambi in relation to sacking Pay. Its not painting a very good picture for potential sponsors of the club. They seem to forget that :
1. He knew what he was signing on for : and
2. No one was else was knocking down his door for a head coaching role when we hired him. The club gave him an opportunity that no one else was prepared to give him. He got a pay rise from his previous job and the chance to be a head coach.
Some balanced reporting would be nice. How about the treatment of coaches at the roosters in the past 20 years before Robinson ?
- Graham Murray (sacked in 2001 after finishing 6th that year and leading them to a GF in 2000) ;
- Ricky Stuart (sacked in 2006 which was 2 years after making 3 consecutive GF's) ;
- Chris Anderson (sacked after 6 months in 2007) ;
- Brad Fittler (club legend sacked in 2009 which was the year after making the top 4) ;
- Brian Smith (sacked in 2012 which was the year after making a GF)
I would see that as far more ruthless than what we have done to Pay. No one expected him to win a comp but surely the media and everyone can see that we have dished up this year demanded a change

And they put klemmer as someone the board chased away.The NRL360 panel spent the whole first segment giving it to our club
Getting rid of Pay is the best thing the board has done
He wasn’t their appointment so they don’t owe him anything other than the one year extension last year
Chinook video?Haha. Probably. Maybe something like a video with Napa and Elliott dancing naked together?
