How good did Moses look returning the ball from the back tonight! From his first touch he looked dangerous and he had that feeling he could create something out of nothing. He wasn’t tested under and bombs but if he keeps running the ball back like he did opposition are not going to kick to him.

He still has to work on backing up the forwards but he’s only going to improve from here. He even chimed in with a couple of kicks that found grass. With a bit of luck he could have had 2 try assists. Hopefully he keeps getting better from here and solves our fullback problem for good and earns his huge pay check.

He was outstanding tonight. At the ground you could sense the Storm were caught out by just how well he was going. He did take a couple of bombs during the night and was sniffing around the ball a fair bit. It might also not have come out on TV but he was marshalling the defence pretty well all night. All in all it was a great debut at FB. Bonus also that his goal kicking was pretty good too. Even the one he missed he struck pretty well.

I love the fact he is playing like Coote!! Almost playing in the halves at times but almost too much. For me he bombed 2 tries tonight only due to the lack of experience but come seasons end we should all be quiet positive he is our solid x factor FB for years to come.

Yeah very positive signs for his first outing. People called me out previously saying they didn't think he had that good footwork, but that first run tonight shows he can more really nicely.

Considering it was against the best side in the comp, against easier teams and as he grows in the position, reads plays, and injects himself more, he's going to be a real danger out there.

Heck he stayed with Addo Carr tonight who broke the line at full pace, whilst Mbye had to turn and chase.

He just needs to trail for the offload more, and also follow the play near our goal line in defence.

Remember Barba wasn't that great when he first played FB for us but with time and patiences he turned out to be a dally M winner, so give Mybe sometime to adjust with his speed he can be anything, me thinks he will be our x factor and them some!! ... It's only round 1 folks but signs are looking good, yes we lost by 3 trys but 2 was run aways that was unfortunate, but we are moving in the right direction so lets stay positive and support Pay and the lads out! Go the DOGGIESSSS !!!

Agree and I think the whole team is guilty about not backing up and considering what happened over the last few years I guess we can forgive them because there was a ban on off loads. The team will slowly learn that there is going to be an off-road now and someone needs to backup

Ideally if we structured our cap better.

1. Mbye
6. Reynolds
7. Foran
9. Lichaa

Foran and Reynolds would have complemented each other perfectly.

Not at all, Reynolds is simply not required.
Even Tigers proved that last night.

Shit .. I'd go as far as saying:

6. Benji Marshall.
7. Benji Marshall.

Fuck Brooks and Reynolds off and Benji can cover both posistions himself based on last night.
