Because people on social media have no clue. Max is only behind AFB and Haas for post contact metres per game for a front rower. May is well down the list but gets talked up because he takes a lot of runs which supercoach players love.

When the fact is they often don't have much of an alternative. Plus there are far less controversial selections as there are often not even 2 players competing for the same position, whereas NSW can have 4 or 5.

I agree with that but nevertheless my contention on NSW treatment of SOO is fair :grinning:

Aren't we lucky we can passionately support the State we think has done the best for us both personally and factually as far as SOO goes.

We live in a great Country.


No matter the closeness of the actual game tallies, there is no doubt Qld "own" State of Origin. There's no greater passion or dedication to the SOO concept and NSW not even in the picture as far as loyalty to the concept of State Against State: Mate Against Mate.
