It's got nothing to do with which state I love or which state I'm from, my dislike for NSW has always come from their dumb selections over the last 20 odd years. Why I changed to Qld.
Coming from NSW it was hard but a far nicer climate so gotta be loyal to our adopted State AND most importantly got so fed up with those dills either doing the "what not you know but who you know" type selections. Never picking the best players to get the SOO type job done and disrespecting the State of NSW in doing so. It was Turvey who put any real pride back into NSW SOO efforts but they've fallen by the wayside since with sensible selections, far too often.

To balance the ledger I go for NSW in the women's SOO lol.

It's all over rated nowadays and Bulldogs first, second and third so when our players are representing, no way I hope they don't score tries and have good games eg Kingy get another try in SOO matey.

I give Qld their due respect bc they have shown the most passion and diligence in picking the right players to win SOO type games and mostly responsible for it being a commercial success for the NRLol.
 
Watch him do a crazy try saver and all of NSW will love him.
 
Not to mention he has his very own club captain alongside him to ease him into it and be in his ear all camp about everything to expect

A generalisation I know but Qld generally has far less players too choose from and as a result it makes it look like they are more loyal to their players. When the fact is they often don't have much of an alternative. Plus there are far less controversial selections as there are often not even 2 players competing for the same position, whereas NSW can have 4 or 5.

What a load of shit, the only time NSWales has ever really dominated origin was when they where picking QLDers to beat QLDers lol

I used to go for whatever team had the most Bulldogs. But over time by sticking to NSW I've invested into it. Plus now I live in QLD its way more fun to gee up QLDers.
