A desperation signing by Barrett to cover for his disaster signing of Corey Allan who he can't get a tune out of like Bennett did.

Take the coin he's on and put it towards Vaughan for another season

Barba was much younger and committed himself to putting his body on the line. Dufty is much older and won't start doing it now unless he gets a heart transplant and ball implants.
Then he went to Brisbane and was rubbish there. But come good again at Cronulla under Flanagan. Some players need strong coaching. I’m sure if he was at Melbourne he’d be killing it

Yes. Very disappointing.. had hopes that his speed and attack would help us as he is a terrible defender. Shows glimpses of what he could do with complete open pasture in front of him. But will never come to fruition. He can fuck off too.!!!

Yeah he is definitely not the answer at fullback. Surely we won't re-sign him

Both Dufty and Averillo are showing they don't have the required physicality for NRL. When you compare how Kiraz in his first NRL game competed and fought hard in tackles and still got offloads away with 3 defenders on him, he is much more ready for NRL than Averillo is, in my opinion

I'm hoping after round 11 we bring in the likes of Kiraz, Toia, Casey and even Lumelume. I'm convinced they will add more to the side than Dufty, Naden, Averillo and Okenbur

I'd also give Alamoti at least another 6 - 8 games in reserves and then bring him up for the backend of the season. He looks good in reserves but hasn't had many games over the past year. Don't want to rush him before he is ready, but some NRL games at the back end of this season could be good for him

If they get past the 1st line you know it's going to be a try with him at the back
And should we not apportion a good % of blame on our first line letting the opposition get thru to him..........seriously ....think about it....have you ever played fullback at this level.........

Any bet our jahsh recruitment people will resign him for 3 more years at $850000 for the reason that he set up that fluke of a try against the roosters. Jahsh ibn jahash

A fullbacks job isn't to run in the opposite direction in cover defence and move out of the way so the player can score untouched.

Think about how many tries Patten and even Barba in his second year ended up saving? How many has Dufty saved? He's not even in the picture.. He's literally diving out of the way to avoid contact and just let's them score.

No fullback at any level, even under 12's, would get away with that. It's embarrassing at this level..

Correct, but even the first line was garbage at crucial times - take Frawley’s try where a park footballer (we know, he played for us) strode past Thompson and JMK and the last line was Dufty. Utterly embarrassing.

The Parra v Panthers would have ended up 34 - 32 if Cat Mufty was fb for both those teams.

Never seen a fullback 10m out from his line fall for a dummy

You learn that shit in under 5s

The most important player on the field is the one with the ball
