Yeah Brandy the old flog said on Monday that Tyrone May played 5/8th when Cleary went off and he played well.

I think May will play 5/8th and Luai will play half back. Essentially Cleary and Luai play left and right side so if they bring Burton in they will have to play him on the right. May would seem more comfortable there

Burton will then revert to bench utility imo

While that would be interesting, it is arguably of more use for him to have a blinder, singlehandedly win the game, and force Penrith to have to choose what to do with him. If he flops he justifies Penrith saying that he will do better with a further year of development with them.

Absolutely. I want him here this year, but that was on the basis he would stay in reserve grade for the majority of the season.

Playing first grade would only help him improve, and hopefully he plays so good that Penrith have no choice but to at least play him from the bench.

that’s it just talk because at the end of the day he will be in reserve grade all year long
A player who is leaving has virtually no chance of cracking the main squad ahead of others.

Except when Daddy's boy has to sit out the game due to a concussion he suffered against the Dogs after they said he was cleared after the game by HIA test. They will give just enough to justify their actions.....
