At my work there is a married couple and they must be together 24/7 because they take their meal break together ffs

At least take the meal break separately so that you can at least have an hour break

And I guarantee the lady is not someone you want to be around for 24/7

Agreed. You can’t work with someone you’re married to. If it’s a small business then it’s probably an acceptation but I mean it would go both ways because the lady wouldn’t want to be around him 24/7 either. Some people are set in their ways though and are probably comfortable with it but I couldn’t do it.

Nup I couldn’t, my missus is a school teacher and get fuck knows how many weeks off. Having said that some of the shit she does she more than deserves it..
HOWEVER!!
Whilst we very much love each other’s company I reckon even just the holidays she has tests me. I wake up - she is home - I get home - she is home - I wash my car - She is home - I try to quickly watch porn - you bet your arse she is home.. And all of this is mainly her doing the right thing in Covid and trying not to go out. But I have learnt that we have our vast majority of time spent together which is lovely but it’s also nice to have a tiny little bit of ME time.. Not long or forever just here and there.

To summarise if we worked together I couldn’t be certain who would kill the other first..

This is why the Bulldogs are quite great for me because whilst my missus has been to many a game and countless times witnessed me have a meltdown when we lost. These days I take myself up to the local have a quite beer (and watch us get thrashed) but it’s still a nice little me time. She is happy for me to do that and it’s a nice little thing we do. She also can’t be fucked listening to me carry on at home watching it and she actually deep down doesn’t really give a fuck about the football I think but that’s why it works..
