Something tells me Lewis is the exception, I"ve been watching it too for a looonnnggg time too.
There is something about the guy the way he plays... leaves other players for dead in reading a game especially when his defending. I know everyone says his a half even himself but have a feeling this guy is going to be our new centre. Just my opinion.

He considers himself a HB but his a 5/8 all day everyday... Considering Coggar is great at being first receiver and knows how to get the ball out to the rest of the team I can see a great combination coming.

They both obviously need work but they'll get there.

What a disaster JMK has become, should have only ever been an option as a bench utility...but Derp Pay with all his wisdom decided to upgrade and extend his contract lol.
After two trials he got an upgrade lol

Anybody who savages the kid basically displays nothing more than the fact they have no idea about rugby league and should stop following it and get off the TK.

I CALL FOR PERMABANS ON ANY FWIT THAT SAVAGES KIDS COMING INTO THE TOP GRADE.
I agree with your sentiments. It is basically wrong to call young football players garbage or rubbish. Anyone who plays top grade RL has a lot going for them
Some may be better than others but there not garbage or rubbish.

I mentioned this in another thread, but stuff it, it needs it's own thread. These two must be brought up to see how they handle it. I know all the arguments against both of them, not good enough, too old not made it yet blah blah blah. At fucking least they are a specialist half and five eight, give them a go! One spot opens with mybe gone and maybe another before next game. For fucks sake just try it, absolutely nothing to lose!
It's sadly not going to happen brother .
Pay's hands are tied due to the tier 2 salary cap.

I travelled to Belmore yesterday and got there in time to watch Lewis and Cleeland and what I saw of both was garbage. They both scored tries but their organisational skills and control was worse than Frawley. At times they were waliking back onside and their 5th tackle options were terrible. The kicks went nowhere and normally someone was tackled on the sixth. Zac Woodford was playing well until concussed and when he went off, there was no organisation. The young bloke who came on in jersey 21 was the best along with our fullback. We need the Morris brothers in 1st grade as our backs could not tackle. Long road ahead.
The best was Okunbor? Not from what I saw

I think their absence from 1st grade is linked to top 30 squad and salary cap restrictions. I am all for bringing those 2 in and testing if they are capable. We tested Fualalo --> Fail --> Flush. We tested Tualau --> fail --> Flush. Frawley is fail --> Flush, Mbye was not worth his contract value --> fail --> Flush, Woods doesn't want to be here --> Fail --> Flush, Foran --> broken & not NRL capable --> Fail --> Flush, Montoya --> Slower than a snail & bad read of defense --> fail --> Flush, Tolman --> vintage style player who has not adapted to modern game --> Fail --> flush, Eastwood --> incapable of getting match fix and costs a fortune --> Fail --> flush, JMK --> defends well but we need attacking flair in his position --> Fail --> Flush, Lichaa --> the gem of all Hasler gems --> FAIL --> PLUNGE PLUNGE PLUNGE --> FLUSH. Give them a chance....if they don't cut it --> flush them.

The tier 2 salary cap no longer exists. It’s has been replaced with clubs naming their top 30 players for the first grade squad by June 30.

In my opinion i believe that cleeland should be our right centre.Reminds me a fair bit of Jamie lyon type player..look at his attributes, blistering speed off the mark, step ,kick ,swerve and good defence.Lets admit he has scored some freakish tries...lewis and a fit foran for mine in the halves...need some experience..hoppa out the back

This season is gone and I doubt Frawley will be re-signed so I like the idea of trying out other players to see if they can handle the step up to first grade. Not sure which NSW Cup players are eligible but I’d love to see one if not both of Cleeland and Lewis given a go.

Cleeland is too old (27 in July) ... and Frawley is shite.

Walker was 26 when he debuted and has a shitload more talent than Cleeland.
They have similarities the main difference is that Cleeland hasn’t had a shot at first grade yet. I think while we have him on the books we need to see what he can do. The season is lost now and we know Frawley is not the answer so why not try out Cleeland and Lewis?

you dont think he should be given a chance to show us in nrl
Walker was getting the same noise about being too old until injuries left a spot open to him. Once he got a shot he made sure that they had to continue picking him. I think we could see that from Cleeland instead of the uninspiring Frawley and his useless kicks
