Lewis and Cleeland Now!

I mentioned this in another thread, but stuff it, it needs it's own thread. These two must be brought up to see how they handle it. I know all the arguments against both of them, not good enough, too old not made it yet blah blah blah. At fucking least they are a specialist half and five eight, give them a go! One spot opens with mybe gone and maybe another before next game. For fucks sake just try it, absolutely nothing to lose!

The NRL won't allow them to be played. Bulldogs have been trying for a few weeks to get Lewis approved.

Possibly with Mbye going Lewis might be called into the side and be able to play.

It's to do with this Top 30 shit the NRL dreamed up.

From what I can gather, even though clubs now have a Top 30, players 26-30 can only be called up if there are injuries in the Top 25 and no other player available can play in that spot.

From what I can tell: Woolford, Lewis, Cleeland, Cerruto and 1 other are all unable to be played therefore. Wakeham is a development player I think, so he's different again.

100% agree with you about Lewis, he needs his shot now , great player. Said it so many times as have so many others.

Perhaps with 2 X 30 players pissing off there would be ability to play these two

Maybe promoted if woods goes and maybe a far better option than foran, who knows what will happen with him, on form to date cleeland is light years ahead of foran even though only reserve grade form.

Not sure how many times it’s been mentioned but they aren’t allowed. We tried to get Lewis but NRL blocked it.
