I went to a wedding recently.. it was a second marriage and they tried to fool the guests with a bullshit function. No sit down tables, basically a big table with cheese and shit on it, an open bar but he had a tab limit on it.

I don't drink much and I didn't have a place to sit. So I adjusted my present to cover what his costs would have been. In all fairness Noone ever counted how many guests their were so he would have undervalued it too. He would have seen my gift and thought "bastard" but he would also know I wasn t stupid to pay when he did it on the cheap. Plus it was his second wedding (his first lasted 3-4 yrs), I didn't have the benefit of my system to claw back my first gift ..

My gift for his first wedding was very generous but also based on his commitment till death do them part.

With half marriages failing, what boils my blood is the guests effectively pay for it. My system swings the pendulum back where the couple pays and if they don't perform as promised the guests get their money back. Call it insurance ... Make the dud couple pay not the guests, for the legit couples they should have no problem waiting for their money

Do what I do... go to the wedding. If they get divorced and re-married, don't go to the second wedding.

Sometimes there is a legitimate reason for people not working out but in that instance they would concede they made the wrong decision, so why should guests foot the bill?

I don't believe in divorce (and neither does the Catholic Chuch - that's why they take so long to annul marriages).

The problem is these days, people are so short sighted and only get married for the short-term things such as good looks. I blame social media for girls having unrealistic expectations and becoming bitches as a result.

I know I know, divorce was around before Social Media, however now 1/2 marriages fails. It wasn't this bad beforehand.

I just want everyone here who's either single, in a relationship or engaged to pick their spouse CAREFULLY so you don't end up a statistic. If you're currently married, kiss your spouse before you leave the house. And if you're a poof... just keep it in your pants.

social media and also smart phones just make everybody so much more accessible and it's so much easier to test the waters for those who might be tempted.. people are much more direct in the online realm

Near perfect?

Near perfect as it's hard to determine when a marriage is going full term. When do we pay out? After 10 years ? 15? That's where my system could be tweaked? Maybe pay em a dividend every 5 years for 25 years? How do I know they will go the distance before I release the funds? Maybe they attend an Interview with me after 10 years and I'll judge if they go the distance or I defer payment for another 10 years

At least flex glue is 100% perfect.. my marriage gift system is 99.99% right.

The online space for meeting a partner is for inept people. People more than often lie, pretend they have more money than they have, pretend they are the CEO,pretend they are younger, pretend they own a particular house/car..

I say we should ban online dating apps and force people to only meet at traditional places, face to face. In a open free market at a nightclub only the best eat, you gotta prove your dance moves, your looks are judged, you either eat or not . All the scrap people get discarded until 3-4am for the drunk desperados .. that's their true worth.

My ex cheated on me through Facebook, hence why she is an ex. Pretty easy to lay the ground work from the comfort of the lounge through social media app, otherwise she never would have gotten the chance for first contact to start the affair with the bloke.
