The missile on SEN seems fairly confident we will get Thompson, given his relationship with the players, could be something in it.
Really, thats an interesting view point. I remember how confident everyone was with big Stalefano then Storm struck. Cant imagine who Thompson is that close with

Nrl.com has Thompson listed as 107KG and when you compare that with the likes of AFB (123KG) and Haas (117kg) it seems the lighter more mobile props is where the position is heading.

With the fatigue in the game through the six again rules we need lighter middles with a big motor.

Take the two panthers props for example - 4 premierships in a row and they're both 101kg and 107kg respectively...

Even RCG is about 15kgs heavier than Fisher Harris... Then you look at Curran who had a great year and is only listed as being just over 100kg.

The game is only going to get faster as teams learn to adapt to these new rules and the days of the dominant 120kg behemoth may be coming to an end...

Or they will be good for about seven minutes and get gassed and become a liability ...

Absolutely, based on the last 5 years results Penrith is the best comparison, according to the Panthers web site Leota is 107kgs and JFH is 103 kgs, LSmith is 106kgs and Henry is 105kgs.

I really don't think that prop size is anywhere near our biggest issue.

Shhhhh don't mention penrith or CrittaMagic will come at you about "tWerKiNg" for them

The media had Stefano a lock coming to us. I was actually tricked too. Not this time though lol
100% true... But in essence (as i have been saying here for MONTHS) Thompson should have always been our number 1 target.. hes a better player and has way more aggression than Stefano...

Stefano at his best is probably better but Stefano at his best is like 3-4 times a year max. Thompson is good and consistent most games

Leo Thompson is better than Stefano in every aspect.

I think he is the best young prop coming through and my Knights fan mates are filthy at the prospect of him playing for us.
