A young bloke on big money buying a nice car and driving around the eastern suburbs. Must be a slow news day
Wouldn’t surprise me if Latrell and his manager get a nice little bonus from the media for dragging this on as long as they can.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is all uncle Nick using his influence to try and discredit Latrell .. I can't imagine anyone has ever said NO to Politis and so when Latrell said NO it probably hurt his little ego.

As these shenanigans continue, I get the distinct impression that the Anderson-aligned board members can't bring themselves to even entertain the thought of taking the risk on Latrell.

He may be one of the best centres in the game, he may be a test centre, he may have loads of natural talent...but he wants more money than a standard centre wants, he dares to speak his mind, and he's not 100% consistent at 22yrs old, so best not take a chance on him.

Far too conservative for that.
Steady as she goes at Belmore.

The longer Mitchell leaves this now the more bad press his going to get. I doubt there are many clubs really interested in him and have my doubts now if our club wants to make a play for him. He has a lot of negs about him. His not liked for many reasons.

Latrell To Play Over 100 Games In 2020 As Nine Reports He’s Signed With 5 Different NRL Clubs

Rising NRL superstar, Latrell Mitchell, will break all records in the history of organised sport next year – as hysterical sports journalists report that he’s expected to play over 100 different NRL matches.

According to the rabid media speculators, including the creeps that work for the social media team at NRL.com, the Sydney Roosters fullback has signed five different contracts with five different clubs next year.

When considering that the 22-year-old will more than likely land himself three Origin jerseys, as well as a handful of matches for the Kangaroos and Indigenous All Stars – Latrell Mitchell is looking down the barrel of a 130-match season.

This equates to over 173 hours of full contact rugby league, or an calendar entire week of non-stop NRL gameplay.

That is, providing he can avoid any injuries, which statistically speaking would be very difficult for any player.

According to the rock solid reporting of Fox Sports, Nine, 2GB and those deep-fried NRL meme pages: Latrell Mitchell will be playing for both the Wests Tigers, Bulldogs, Cowboys and the Bunnies – all while remaining at the Sydney Roosters.

Channel Nine are also reporting that Mitchell has signed a 10-year-contract at all of these five of these clubs, meaning that by the time he turns 32 he will have played 1100 NRL matches. Roughly 700 more than the current record-holder, outgoing Melbourne Storm captain Cameron Smith.

Latrell Mitchell has come out today and publicly questioned how he is supposed to be in more than two places at once, while also playing in different jerseys throughout the next season – particular during the the NRL rounds where he is expected to run out onto the field against himself in two different cities on the same night.

The NRL media have responded to Mitchell’s fairly valid comments by saying that he is ‘volatile’ and ‘immature’ – before immediately publishing a spree of articles supporting claims that all five clubs have cancelled contract negotiations with the brash young footballer.

Latrell Mitchell and the mystery $250k Mercedes: First sign wheels had fallen off at the Roosters

Roosters insiders first started to have concerns about Latrell Mitchell’s head space when the Kangaroos centre was spotted rocking up to training in a flash new Mercedes S63 Turbo AMG sports car valued at around $250,000.
Given the Roosters chairman Nick Politis has amassed part of his $600 million fortune courtesy of the motor vehicle industry, the obvious question was had Uncle Nick helped Latrell find a new set of wheels?

The answer is an unequivocal no. So where had the mystery Mercedes come from then? Mitchell apparently told teammates it belonged to a friend.

The first sightings of Mitchell driving the S63 Turbo began leading into the finals series in September.

When purchased brand new, the luxury line of Mercedes sports car can retail for as much as $370,000 and has a top speed of 300km/h.

Given all the speculation swirling since May about Latrell testing his value on the open market and wanting a contract worth more than $1 million a season, the Roosters took note.

For a country kid from the NSW north-coast town of Taree, a Mercedes S63 Turbo is one hell of a flash ride.

Looks pretty slick on the inside, too.Source: Supplied

Was Mitchell beginning to listen to too many people around him? Were his values changing? Was he getting swept up in the fast lane of big-city life?

The Roosters began to ask all these sorts of questions as they prepared to make an offer of $800,000-a-season for 2021 and 2022, with Mitchell already under contract for next year.

Had Mitchell accepted the offer, it would have made the Kangaroos star the highest paid centre in the game.

Mundine’s advice for Latrell Mitchell: Roosters ‘aint loyal’, get as much cash as you can

Latrell Mitchell wants to play fullback at the Dogs … but they already have one

Instead, he baulked and wanted more time on the open market.

So the Roosters did the honourable thing by their club and its principles and pulled the offer off the table.

Where Mitchell ends up next is still very much up in the air. But he’s almost certainly played his last game for the back-to-back premiers.
The stench of bullshit flows through this article.

Uncle Nick is like a Mob Boss, once you go against the family you're a marked man.
