Anytime a player is signed or selected, another player misses out, professional sport. Shouldn't effect a professional team. Comments from Gould n ciraldo are generally carefully worded, there less than enthusiastic comments about Sexton are a clue imo. players can also earn selection at training.

Any of you think because he's not a halfback then he won't be able to succeed in that position is plain dumb.

The kid is not one dimensional like Burton, Galvin can actually play footy anywhere(1,6,7,13) and is creative. He's 19 ffs and already has confidence in his game. I'm backing Gus' judgement on this one, plus we didn't break the bank for him. I personally think we can't win the comp this year without a little more in attack. We're on top of the ladder yes, but we are the 6th or 7th best attacking team FFS, not good enough for a team coming first.

No way it’s all one sided and people have short memories. Whether it’s player, manager and/or parent driven it certainly didn’t all come from Tigertown. First it was ‘You’re signing too many halves!’ then ‘Benji can’t coach!’. But it 100% didn’t start with ‘I’m not signing a new contract’ - which would’ve been fair play and had we snared him in November for 2027 (or even 2026 if they then cut him early) it would sit a lot better with me too. It’s been handled poorly across the board and I certainly hope the circus doesn’t move from Concord to Belmore. What will Dogs fans say if similar stuff happens to us in a year or two? Can’t rule it out…

IMO, Players unhappy with Galvin's inclusion to improve the team are the ones that feel threatened...
These kind of players are the reason why players Like Galvin are signed !!!

cant beliive the dikheads like Buzz Drunkfield and hooper complaining that we are improving our roster. We paid unders, he wants to play with the dogs, he is the hottest talent for his age going around. If we lose Sexton then so be it, we arent going to win a premiership with our current roster imo. We are competitive obviously, but in a GF against the storm?

Just because he debuted for the Tigers doesn't mean he has some obligation to be a lifer... I mean we all know clubs will chew up and spit players out with no hesitation, so they can't expect 100% loyalty from every player they give a debut too.

Don’t forget they acquiesced to Isaiah Papali’i’s release request after what, 1 season? Bateman also, but they wanted him gone because they didn’t know what they bought lol. They also loaned Sullivan to Souths.

Completely inept management at that organisation.

In all honesty, I can see us making the GF but not winning it.

Galvin could be our ace up our sleeve to win it. Not only by adding his talent but helping Burton out (first and foremost) and making our good players better.

100%, Galvin makes the team stronger whether of the bench or starting. He has X-Factor and is a definite attacking option that we didn't have before. I agree with the all comments, he is not a 7 ATM, but CC and Gus will have a plan. They dont buy someone for the sake of it

That was my point bro. Not that Daley is a respected coach, but he has Bellamy as an advisor and they decided two game director type halves could work, so it doesn’t matter. Pick the best players and make it work. If it doesn’t, change it. Simple.
