How long do we sign him for? Are we offering a slab 5 year deal? Or will we stick to the max 2-3 years everyone else has been getting.

Tigs can fck themselves up as much as they want. Don't care. Do care about the Dogs and NRL as a whole.

Guarantee you, I and 99% of the clown crew here have no idea what the full story is. All I know is we built this club on being a 'family'. Where exactly is the 'family' in this? We're facilitating a kid screwing his club over with an early release. So what happens next year assuming he's on $750k. He stops playing half way through saying I want a $1.5M contract? Even better, what happens when say the top 20% of players do this year in year out? We turning the NRL into the NBA where players run the show?

I got no views on Galvin as a player one way or the other. Don't go out of my way to watch Tig games. Just as I said before, doesn't sit well with me.
We did no facilitate anything. Galvin wanted out long before out interest. He wanted to come to us and for less

Manufactured over years. They both possessed the qualities of a game manager. Galvin like Burton are runners. The skill of organising isn’t just a learnt thing. There is a lot of natural instincts involved. Maybe I’m wrong but I haven’t seen this in Galvin at all.

If this is the plan wtf are we doing with Woods? Are we saying he isn’t it?

This is a high risk play from the club. Team culture and the brotherhood amongst the boys has been threatened.

No risk will kill it

Look its a great signing but my concern is the current playing group. Will this effect the bonding of the players if it means someone is sacrificed? If no one goes who's position does he take and again does this cause an issue? I hope not and we continue to get stronger and everyone is on board because faaarrrkkk this has just made us even more a powerhouse team and club.
Just one thing, someone get him to Belmore Barbers to fix that fringe cause c'mon cuz it's awful lol

I'd say Burton to #6 and Galvin to #7.

Sexton moved back to bench in place of Hayward maybe.

The games moved towards a more ball playing role for lock these days, so maybe one of them is in the plans there.

I guess we can never believe gus again when it comes to player signings....

twice now he's lied about it
Reports are that we weren't interested in him until Tigers announced he'll be released for a set transfer fee.

Then we started talking.

Just hope Moses doesn't fuck the club over in years to come if Galvin kicks on to become something special.

Are they actually going to try him at lock i feel that is such a waste he’s a great 6

I can see your concerns and theyre genuine. I truly believe this is all linked to Benji and how bad he is at being a coach. I trust Ciro and Gus won't put up with this shit and it won't reach this point. And if it does cause Galvin turns out to be a **** and his agent wasn't the problem, then he can also fuck off. Everyone is replaceable. Everyone. But if Galvin comes and helps the club win a premiership and no issues like at tigers, then who cares about the past.

I was against signing Galvin initially as I thought he'd be after similar money to what the Tigers were offering. At 750k a year, he's fairly cheap and worth the risk.

Obviously it's not a perfect halves combo but both are talented enough and I trust the coaching staff to figure it out.

It's bad luck for Sexton but I don't blame the club for being cut-throat and for pouncing when a prospect like Galvin comes along at that price.

3 year deal is perfect. Enough security for Galvin and doesn’t lock us in if it doesn’t work out.
Agreed I think by then is burto of contract I’m sure they will weigh up who to keep with woods coming in to the picture aswell
