Kiraz is a gun and deserves to be in the mix for Origin, let me say that straight up. But I have to be honest here - I look at the fact the NSW head coach is an ex raider and is aided by the current Storm coach and I can’t help but be sceptical. Especially given picking a winger as 18th man is such an odd choice. But it’s a choice that will cause the most disruption to us this weekend without doubt. We could have handled Burton or even Preston being there a lot easier.

That's the reason why he is on notice for selection. If To'o turns up OK, Kiraz will not be called up.

this makes the most sense. considering 95% of the time the 18th man doesnt even get on the field, why not either let them play their club games or change eligibility to be from a team not playing a club game that week

Daley has openly mocked the dogs for the last few yrs, especially on morning radio.
Then cheering on Penrith when he also has bulldogs players playing for him as well.
Only personal opinion but I just found it tactless.

Galvin is far superior in ball playing skills.
He's finding his feet in this team but it will soon be clear he is a far better option.
Burton kicks better but can do that playing in the centres.

Kiraz is great but if he isn’t playing wing he simply isn’t needed for NSW.

It’s just too stupid. If two head knocks occur and the 18th man is activated and one of them is a half NSW have no replacement with Kiraz. If two forwards are out NSW have no replacement. Kiraz only come into the team on a wing and the whole team shuffles positions. It’s so stupid.

From a tactical perpective, 18th man needs to be a Utility player that can cover multiple positions.

Kiraz is likely to only cover wing or centre. He can cover FB if needed, but they will most likely move Latrell to FB and use Kiraz at centre if Edwards goes down.

Burton makes more sense as 18th man.

From a financial and long term grooming perspective, i can see why they picked Kiraz. Gives him a bonus $$ and keeps him hungry to keep performing knowing he is a whisker from cracking the team.
 
With Walsh named 18th man and Shibasaki in the centres for QLD, this should swing things in our favour.

I would prefer to see Galvin play 5/8th all game with Burton in centres doing long kicking, but will see what CC has planned.

At least he has the guts to be real and not political correct like the rest of the spineless coward in the media, gotta somehow admire that, even though he’s a hook nosed dog hating POS
 
It is pretty crazy when u have a raiders legend selecting 18 th man against a side equal on the ladder.

They do have Cobbo who comes in for Shibaski. Hunt will be back for them, was talk yesterday that Billy spoke to Hunt and was considering him massively for game 3.
