If they are actually playing I have no drama. I agree that playing in those games makes them a better player. Being 18th man and not being available for us is ordinary.

You can whinge about the rule, and that’s fine, but the fact is we all know that 18th man can’t play for their club team so I’m not going to whinge about a player being selected just because I don’t like the rule.

I think the selectors watched last Thursday's game and put the red line through Burton.

Kiraz is there to cover To'o who might he under injury cloud.

If someone else pulls out and they parachute someone from left field, then you know we've been screwed over.

There is no conspiracy, it is what it is. Yes the rule sucks, and have watched people on here crying about it for the last couple of years. Stop shaking your first at the moon and just be happy for our players

He's making it look like we have no other option but to play Burton at left centre.

Galvin will be able to use Kikau as decoy and put Burton into space.

As I said happy for him/them , but the fact even the media and other fans are saying the same (that it is ridiculous) Should tell you something..

Its not that i dont like him.
I just i don't think he's a good enough 5/8th and with Galvin now here, im hoping CC makes the right call for the team.
 
18th man should be permitted to play club football.

Alternatively, the 18th man should only be selected from teams with a bye.

Considering this coming week the Knights, Titians, Panthers, Sharks, Eels, Warriors and the Dolphins all have a bye, surely both NSW and QLD could identify a suitable replacement from one of the teams.

Who’s going to wash the sheets after all the bed wetting in this thread? Unbelievable.

Be happy for our boys getting experience at the highest level - which ultimately benefits our club through better footballers and next man up while they’re out, not to mention a nice bonus for their pay packets. Nice to be rewarded after being flogged in pre-season and hard work all year. There’s still 9 games after Origin III which if you’re not in the hunt already you likely never were.

We will be there in September - what else matters?
