I was thinking of posting virtually the same thing. If they are paying JFH 800+K per year as reported they can't have much in the bank for Kikau. If we could get Johnson, TPJ and Smith for 2022 and Kikau for 23 we'd be set all over the park. RFM and Stimson are off contract at the end of 2022. That would probably free up around 650K. Jackson will finish up end of 2023

Leota's the most appealing player coming off contract at the Panthers imo. It looks like we're going to be signing an older/veteran prop (ideally for 2 years) for next year so Leota for 2023 would be ideal. Kikau will be so expensive for a second rower.

The good thing about Liam Martin making the NSW origin team is that his value has increased significantly and that they cant keep both on their roster for medium wages now, not saying Kikau is the answer to our woes but he would give us a big bodied strike back rower giving opposing defences something more to think about when defending our attacking raids! At the right price I’d have him in blue & white in a heartbeat!

Awful defender and needs a dominant half to steer him around and bark orders at him or he goes missing and will sit back and let others do the hard work. Cleary and Luai all game can be seen yelling at him and pointing him around.
