What ever suits the team
Inglis played 6 in a winning gf
Id say he goes like fittler to lock eventually
After we win a few comps with him at 7
Footy is awesome aye, some players have been able to break the mould, or bring a different angle to a position or bring a style of play. Plenty of great players played in various positions, while still specialising in a position.
We know Thurston made it even though 'he was too small to play', Laurie Daley like Fittler played centre , lock, besides being known for five eighth , people forget Johns played hooker plenty of times. Buzzy fullbacks or your Latrell types, prop type locks or your hard working mr fixits like Dallas Johnson or a rampaging Bradley Clyde.

By the sounds of it, Oloapu is determined to cement a position he wants to play in or style of play and has a good head on him, we can see he's skillful and uses his body well too. Everyone likes the "I'll play anywhere type of player" but it's also good having a couple players that good that can back themselves and cement their position.
It's good to see Gus and the Dogs share and want to promote Oloapu's vision, obviously their 1st priority was signing a great prospect and put him into whatever position accommodates him but Gus would want to commit to whatever he discussed to bring him over from the Broncos, which is in the halves apparently.

Will be interesting to see if he gets any game time next week. You’d think if he’s being saved for the 2nd trial that he’s being considered for round 1.

Yeah you would think our Round 1 team would be playing next weekend.
Especially being at Belmore they will want to put on a show.

For sure .... you would assume they need a hit out before round one.

Not uncommon to rest stars for the first trial.

Loving the tension at play here, on the one hand Karl being touted as a kid with a point to prove, denied opportunity at broncs etc against CC obligation to other halves etc… I’m hopeful CC is the best in the business at this massaging the egos of the up and coming.

Depends when he started training, don't forget the NRL's minimum 6 week training edict.

Mason said the kid's about 6'2, 100kgs and is likely still growing so might be more of a lock. I thought we bought him to be our 7
Nah, be bought him cause he’s a gun… but he’ll never be a 7. Lucky we have the ‘gun
