I cant believe they picked Inglis ahead of El Masri :p

Good team. Theres a few surprises. I would've had Inglis at 5/8th and bring Bowen onto the wing. Watmough played himself out of a jumper last night, but then who knows what Stuart would've done picking his Sharks players ahead of others.

Watmough had one poor game and he's not selected. The Dally M 2nd rower not selected.

Are they for real?

Rofllllll!

Bird 5/8??!?!?!?!

Inglis won the Clive Churchill Medal last night at 5/8, and you have a a guy who is a good backrower but poor 5/8 playing 5/8.

Ricky Stuart is a ****.

I'd be my last $50 this team was already named before the GF.

I still don't understand why Price isn't starting prop and captain.

I just don't get it.

Cameron Smith deserves that every bit!
I still think Price deserves it.

Accolades from this year:

Dally M Prop of the Year (2 years straight)
MOM in an Origin game (2 years straight)
Dally M Captain of the Year
Highest Meter's Gained by a prop in an NRL season ever
Highest Meter's Gained by a prop in an Origin ever
Top 4 Finishing Side

FFS, his team made it pretty far this year too

How the guy isn't Captain, let alone STARTING prop absolutely ****s me!

positions 2 - 5 wow what talent, the best three quarters in a long time, Inglis and Hayne will have a picnic outside Hodges and Gaz, as long as somebody gives them some ball.

I disagree based only on his gloting at Manly players last night. Just another one who's heads gottin to big and it makes him a bad sport.. Farken QUEENSLANDERS!

1-5 shut the gates. Doesn't matter who's playing 6-17...just throw them the ball and it's all over.

What a crap team considering what could have been made.

Gasnier has played about 2 minutes of football all year. Bird has played lock all year and has minimal experience at five-eighth and even though he played well for NSW, giving the game to him for his country is a massive risk. Kite has done nothing to deserve staring prop over Price. Hindmarsh is over rated badly and Johnson should have been there in place of him IMO. Gallen has played well earlier in the year but his end of season form wasn't that great and how he is in the team ahead of Watmough is beyond me. Gidley has been Newcastle's best, but playing him off the bench won't have much impact and I feel Bowen should have definitely been on the bench if Gidley is.

Apart from that, good team. Great to see Crocker there as well, he deserves it.
