Ponga and Mann racking lines in the toilet is not a good look and for them being there instead of at the game shows where Newcastle's culture is at.....but the worst part of the whole incident is the people filming and knocking on the toilet door. Fkn snitch clowns. What kinda man films another man in the toilet to get him in trouble or sell to the media.
Might've wanted to poop

FMD Ponga was out celebrating in Newcastle while his team mates were playing in Brisbane, what team captain in his right mind thinks that is a good idea. Is there another NRL team captain who wouldn't have been in the coach's box and the dressing room before and after the game, supporting his fellow players. He was still breathing, still walking and talking, no problem with flying with concussion, why the fark wasn't he there? Absolutely piss poor exhibition from the team captain and the highest paid player in the team.

Who the fark gave him permission to stay away from the game, because he needs to wake up to himself as well.

If anyone was looking for sign as to why the Knoughts are farked, there is a prime one right there.

Listened to an interview with Peter Parr and he defended Ponga by saying it is not unusual in his experience for an injured player not to travel with the team.

But this guy was a team leader......... a club captain...... a little bit different to someone who is a co captain or on field captain. Also said that Ponga still has to grow into his role as a leader. WTF? Why appoint a bloke who has to grow into the role or at least not one who is positively expected to do so?

Did say that culture at the club is poor and that is why swift and decisive action was taken by him on the two players Bradman Best and Enari Tuala who were 6 minutes late to the team bus... 6 minutes late to exiting a cubicle together with drink in hand.... a bit different.

Simply because Ponga is the next best thing since sliced bread and useful to the side means what?

I listened to The Captain's Run on SEN with Cam Smith.

They discussed this situation and Smithy said it's not unusual for a captain who is out injured to follow the team. He said when he was rested post origin, Bellamy said to stay back.

Difference is that Smithy earnt that yet Pogba has no leadership qualities. I would have thought, as a young "superstar" and captain and given Newcastle's position, he would want to be there with the team.

Pogba is a Myth and still being paid on potential yet has had 4yrs in First Grade. Pogba is Dane Gagai 2.0 and it's ironic that both of them are at the knights, steeling money from them and the fans still turn up.

Newcastle pair Kalyn Ponga and Kurt Mann have avoided sanction from the NRL over their toilet cubicle incident.

Ponga and Mann were filmed leaving a toilet cubicle at a Newcastle hotel together earlier this month by a member of the public, prompting the Knights and the NRL to launch an investigation into the matter.

NRL sources on Wednesday confirmed head office had opted to take no action against either player. It is unclear whether the Knights will adopt the same stance.

As part of their investigation, the NRL undertook target drug testing of the pair.

The players denied any wrongdoing and it is understood Mann accompanied Ponga to the toilet because the Newcastle star was feeling sick.

There was speculation Ponga could lose the captaincy over the incident, but it is believed the Knights superstar will stand by their star.

More to come..

Does that mean it was a gay thing and not a drugs thing?

Report on 9 sport showed Kaylyn Ponga keen to challenge for the Maroons FB position off Walsh.

Even more revealing from the report, re "cubicle gate" was Ponga has now bleached his hair blonde.
