Rumours emerging that Josh Mansour may want out of the Penrith Panthers. No word on any club in particular however, reportedly he is having issues with coach Anthony Griffin.

[IMG]Which club would benefit most from Mansour's signature in 2018?

Griffin will be sacked soon. Too many players turning against him.

Yep. Griffin will go before players.

And Mansour is unsigned past this year anyway.

Heard on TV today that Des' name may be thrown up as a possible replacement. Personally can't see that working with their freestyle ad-lib sort of football - unless of course it's been decided they can't win a premiership that way.

I think Des would go good there, his biggest downfall here was his recruitment but at th Panthers the team is already there and all they need is a structure in place to be able to actually win more games. Compare the Panthers to his last successful Manly side and there are a few comparisons:

    1. Really good Halfback with a good running game and kicking game.

    2. A fullback that can not only play as an extra 5/8 if need be but also has a really good support game.

    3. A strong #6 that can lead the team if need be but also a strong personality in the changing room.

    4. A 80+% goal kicker.

    5. A strong but mobile pack.

No thanks for Josh. No doubt he is a good winger but too much cash. Montoya is an emerging winger of talent and you can kick 1,000 rocks and find a winger. Des can do whatever Des does as long as he does not return here.

Montoya and Carr are our future.

Maybe Bergamin in the mix but he's more a fullback.

Mansour is more injury prone than people say BMoz is

We don't need another bmoz to replace our current bmoz ffs. Curtis Scott and RTS should be our 2 major targets for the 2019 season at this stage imo.

Would not surprise me. Gould was always delicate towards des, even when he was copping it. Something told me he would go for des, if he ever got the boot.

The club has all the gadgets and shit Des wants but what is even better is that there will be someone there to control Des. Gould won't let des ball evolve, he'll trim it back and tell des is bat shit crazy.

If we can legit sign rts Scott for losing the Morris bros next year I’ll have a Fucking hard on.

I’d also give Crichton all of Eastwood’s money and whatever else needed to get him.

A pack of woods Klemmer Jacko Crichton fuafalo tualau rfm elliott with hopefully someone like Martin or to’omaga kicking on. Fuck me. Fuck tolman off too and have more ffs

I will give you 2 years of Penrith under des to go back in every single performance points you raised above.

Good player but would demand far too much money and is getting on. Thankfully Hasler is gone and we won't see ridiculous signings any longer.

I know Gould well and I believe that he is very clever football wise, however, whatever he says or does has an agenda to it. Praising Des when it was so obvious that he was slowly destroying our club only only strengthens what I have seen in him over the past 20 plus years. I may be very cynical but I will always take anything he says with a very Liberal not (Labour) grain of salt as well as a huge dose of pepper.
Having said that I believe that Des and Gould will work well together, they have a few things in common, including both having coached our club, and its very possible that they both could have simmiliar feelings towards our beloved club.

Anthony Griffin had the same impact on players when he was Broncos coach.

    Player upset galore.

It was the mainly senior players as well. Seems it's the same at the Panthers.

The younger ones he coached, seemed to like him.

He treats them like 'kids' & doesn't listen to the players input, concerns etc.

Roosters still have plenty of cap space they will snap him up with change.
