Sorry but he is what the bulldogs are about these days. Good guy, strong trainer and that seems to be good enough. It's rebuild 2.0 with the players we have at the moment, it'll be a while until we see consistent good times.

Agree that it will be a while until we are a finals team which is why I find it hard to believe that we extended Jackson on a new deal for a player 30 years old. Should be told he should look elsewhere and hopefully Barrett does that

I'd argue Jackson is a good tackler but not a great defender. He'll chop down anyone who runs at him if he's set and in position but he's got the mobility of an 80 year old which sometimes makes him come in when he doesn't need to because he is worried about conceding that half a yard as he won't be able to make it back up
