The club need to fight this charge. Even if it means he misses two games.

It’s an absolute joke. If they don’t fight it. It doesn’t really set a precedent. If they fight it and lose. The NRL have an obligation to follow precedent for the season. If that is the standard set then that is the standard. If we meekly accept guilt there is no real standard that has been tested.

Unfortunately we won’t win that change so long as they are consistent and I know what will happen there…

I am ok with it being a suspension but let’s see the next bloke getting banned for it

I get all that but I don't think the club want to risk 2 wks for a key player particularly with sitili out

If it wasn’t 2 games maybe but just the one you take it and move on.
 
Got some headaches for Round 1 against a tough dragons side:
- Curran out, who replaces him?
- We need a new left winger as Montoya STINKS
- We need more size and grunt thru the middle, as was again shown yesterday
- Haywood was impressive but we cannot have him, Morrin and Salmon on the bench. Only 1 can play and I think Haywood is that man
- Jethro needs to be seriously considered
- Also maybe moving King to the bench and starting DSF...

Ya a stupid fkn rule, for sure.
If he doesn’t get concussed, it’s a penalty and nothing more.
Weird that the injury determines the penalty?

Dragons will beat us based on what we have dished up so far in pre season. Hopefully Sitili can replace Curran

We were on-top until Ciraldo's plodder brigade came on off the bench which was the exact same story last season. Hughes/King/Mann to whatever combination Ciraldo brings on is a massive downgrade. Will only be a bigger issue this season as most teams look to be carrying more mobile packs so our plodders will now lose whatever advantage they previously had.

I agree with you on the bench, but thats not why we blew that first half.

We were on top and lost because of discipline and poor errors. Had nothing to do with the bench the first half.

Well on top, 4th tackle and King hits high, piggy back out of trouble.

A BASIC bomb dropped, leads to a try.

Offside by a winger who had just comes on leads to 3 sets in a row

Look i agree, but the bench in the first half had nothing to do why we down 14 nil.
