This guy has the heart of a lion and and also carries with him enough skill, not to mention the consistancy also in defence so def needs to be included in the 17 plain and simple...would be interesting to see how he would or will go with Des and Joey training him up - ffs give this guy his shot, the only way is up for this guy, the coaches just need the belief he has in himself - THAT BELIEF IS - FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION NO MATTER WHO

I can't see him in the Top 17 unless there is injuries. He would still do a better job than Keating at 5/8th.

He wont be in the 17 but he will play when origin comes around
He filled in admirably at 5/8 last year but if he is a hooker only in 1 st grade

This guy is more than just back up imo, he just needs a start....When i play footy with my 3 boys in the back yard my 6 year old always says he's Joel Romelo.

shouldbe in the team before keating imo. he has more to offer than keating. big hits bigger hits AND MASSIVE HITS, can catch and pass without stuffing the play up, a good runner of the ball, kicking game is average like keating.

Impressive tonight, interesting to see how How Hasler kept Ennis off for a while to give him a run, very solid indeed - if Ennis were to get injured we are well and truly covered at no 9....Reynolds in the making at no 6 by the look of it - goodbye Keating...

The side seemed to lift somewhat especially in defense when Romelo came on.

Dare I say it, we are better with him on the field, replacing Ennis. He should be in our 17 every week

That's what I was thinking a bit , not sure whether it was Romelo coming on or Ennis coming off but we stepped up a bit a that point in time. But that was Ennis' first hit out of the year so I'm sure he'll be right

Ennis was definately short of a run and probably wont be back to his best by round 3. Romelo did his job well last night and lifted the intensity when needed. Reynolds could be another version of Foran......

Said the same thing on here last year mate, he reminds me so much of Foran. Same spark in attack, good footwork, and a physical defender. Obviously not as refined with regard to overall skill but I think he has all the makings of a great 5/8th.

I've never been a Romelo fan but he was good last night, very good actually
Ennis will play 80 mins so we need to find a spot in the starting line up for him

What drugs are you dude ?? Reynolds was one of our best last night
He is our only attacking half and only half at present that can score a individual try
Sure he comes out of the line for a big hit but there was not one break when he did it so it shows he is picking his time

One of our best??? Are you kidding?? Are you the one actually on drugs?
Do you really know anything about football? You probably like Jono Wright too?
It's a team game and Reynolds still needs to learn that!
Romelo is our best option at 6 and should be given the time to settle in that position.
Hodko to stay on his natural Right side with Romelo playing on his natural Left.

Please you can't be serious
I'm not going to bother arguing with someone who thinks was poor last night
